5 IMPORTANT PORTAL FACTS

#1 Portals are type of app that is launched within PowerApps using a simple designer to quickly build and deploy low-code responsive web sites. #2 Each Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement customer is able to deploy as many production and non-production web portals as needed. There is no requirement to purchase individual portal licences. #3 Your portal will be 100% housed and maintained within the Common Data Service and integrated with your Dynamics 365 environment. #4 Portals are licensed based on usage. For authenticated users this is metered by external users logging in to your portal. Anonymous users PowerApps Portal are licensed by page views. Sufficient monthly capacity should be purchased to reflect external usage for all deployed portals. #5 By default, web portals are deployed securely in the cloud - there will be no new hardware to procure, certificates to install, or web servers to provision.
