In response to the growing demand within OOC Group for the establishment of a solid Employee Relations function, Takatuf is in the process of developing a comprehensive Employee Relations Program that aims at building the ER capacity in OOC and partnering companies. The program will start with an “Eye Opener” session followed by 4 Modules taking place in 2013 as highlighted below:

• Realizing the latest global thinking and what good practices exist in Employee Relations.

• To comprehend the components of a good ER Management Framework and how it relates to good Human Resource practices.

• To have a basic understanding of the Oman ER landscape including the law, role players and how to manage it from a business perspective effectively.

• To understand Unions, their origin, nature, aims and objectives and how to best manage them.

• The actions that need to be taken in order to enhance employee relations and mitigate the risk of potential future conflicts and strikes.

Accordingly, we would like to provide you with the opportunity to nominate candidates from your company to attend the “Eye Opener” session. It is expected that participants during the Eye Opener will continue the journey throughout 2013.

Nomination Criteria:• The candidate should be an ER or potential ER person• The candidate should have at least 2-7 years of

experience• The candidate must have good communication skills
