Job Title: Research Analyst Salary: Competitive
Location: Long Bennington, Newark Status: Full Time
Role: The Research Analyst will take responsibility for daily management and dissemination of the business and open-source intelligence production, predominately derived from the upkeep and development of the company’s Open Source Databases and related products.
Responsibilities: Lead the development of collateral and supportive
intelligence streams. Lead analytical role in support of research tasks to supply
business and operational intelligence for internal and external customers.
Conduct the duties of Research Analyst:o Use of open-source research software tools and
applications to gather open source data, including a variety of web browsers and Really Simple Syndication (RSS) file formats and readers
o Data entry and manipulation of multimedia files including audio, video and imagery
o Maintain records and backups of all relevant data using a variety of Microsoft Office packages with a strong emphasis on Excel spreadsheets and word processing
o Provide steerage to BD and Marketing staff resulting from daily research activities
o Provide Operations personnel with supporting information and data to underpin a variety of products and services
Liaise with the database software developer regarding faults and issues with the product and provide guidance and ideas for enhancing the product.
Respond to customer requests for assistance Produce reports based on analysis of research data in
response to customer requests or in relation to the development of new products
Prepare and maintain intelligence product related records and customer relationship management activities.
Ensure that all software licenses are maintainedConduct customer facing meetings in relation to the company intelligence products in order to provide product support and
marketing of the product

At least five years’ experience in research or analytical role a Department of Intelligence or Weapons Intelligence environment.
