Responsive Classroom

• Social and Emotional Learning Program• Six Components: morning meeting,

classroom organization, rules and logical consequences, guided discovery, academic choice, and assessment and reporting

• Helps diverse students cooperate and function in society

Seattle Development Project

• Consisted of parent-teacher training, decision making, conflict resolution, and refusal skills

• Participant Results: fewer teen pregnancies, better commitment to school, fewer violent acts, less likely to use alcohol, drugs, and tobacco
