Participating countries & municipalities

Countries: FI, EE, ES, DE, AT, EL, IT, RO

Municipalities: Chosen by project partners in participating countries Most of them were chosen during the proposal phase (early

establishment of committment of the locally involved people) Very different starting situations:

Some already have e-vehicles (e.g. Schladming in Austria) Others have never dealt with this issue before (e.g. most Greek

municipalities). For some municipalities the project is complementary to

other activities, such as SUMP or SEAP development

Main objectives

E-mobility action plan for each participating municipality

Electricity from renewable energy sources

E-mobility action plans

Aspects to be considered: Local action team: Choose carefully, which stakeholders to integrate

(facility managers, tourism, etc.) Development of a clear vision and goals Precise planning of responsibilities to ensure implementation of

measures Cooperation with important economic sectors (e.g. tourism, trading,

etc.) – integration into local measures Provide arguments for e-mobility beyond finances (image, fore-

runner, local air quality, etc.) Never underestimate local politics, e.g. structural reform of

municipalities in Austria or local elections in Slovenia can lead to delay of project activities
