• On October 20th, 2014, the UAE Space Agency and Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) were assigned by the UAE Government to supervise and develop the Emirates Mars Mission.

• The main Strategic Goals:

– Get a probe to Mars by the UAE’s 50th anniversary in 2021

– Develop the Science and Technology Sector in the UAE

– Increase UAE’s Contribution to the Scientific Community
