What is EMI?
EMI (ElectromagneticInterference) is broadly definedas any unwanted electrical or
electromagnetic energy thatcauses undesirable responses,degraded performance, or failurein electronic equipment.
For our purposes we are usuallyconcerned with radiated and
conducted EMI in electronicequipment in command, control,information and communicationsystems.

What is a ilter Connector?
Filter connectors use internal capacitors and (optionally) inductors and
diodes (for EM% applications) to 2strip off3 unwanted noise or transient
oltages from the signal.
5ypes include tubular, planar array, chip on fle+!board, EE seal andothers
2ow0pass3 filters attenuate high0frequency noise and allow low0
frequency signals to pass
