**AGENDA** SPECIAL PRESENTATION (2:30) Ada County Paramedics will unveil their new MedCat armored ambulance and thank executive council members publically for their support of the new regionally deployable special purpose vehicle. Darby Weston, Director, Ada County Paramedics will lead the presentation. This event will take place in the main (south) Public Safety Building parking lot (similar to Red Cross last September). I. SPECIAL PRESENTATION (2:30) American Red Cross (ARC) officials unveiled their new Emergency Response Vehicle and thanked executive council members for their support of the new regionally deployable vehicle. A. Approve June 4, 2018 Minutes Mayor de Weerd moved to approve the June 4, 2018 Minutes of the Emergency Management Executive Council meeting. Commissioner Visser seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
B. Approve Technical Advisory Group Grant Request On behalf of the Technical Advisory Group, Deputy Chief Eugene Smith requested $72,000 in grant funds to purchase nine night vision devices for the Metro SWAT Team. The equipment would allow all team members to be inter-operable with tactical teams from Boise and Ada Metro. Mayor de Weerd moved to approve the grant request. Councilwoman Elaine Clegg seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
IV. Information / Discussion Items A. Homeland Security Grant Update
Doug provided an in-depth overview of past State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) expenditures for grant years 2010-2017.
