Members in good standing who can contribute to a diversity of perspectives and experience, including the ability and willingness to make a real contribution to the Credit Union, its Board and its Members are invited to contact Kathy Stanziale at 570-836-0332 to receive a candidate questionnaire/ application.
New applications will be accepted through January 31, 2017. After January 31, 2017, a member may run for the Board of Directors by submitting a petition signed by 1% of the Credit Union’s membership. Volunteer Supervisory Committee Members needed.
The P&G Mehoopany Employees Federal Credit Union seeks qualified members who have an interest in volunteering for the credit union as a Supervisory Committee Member. This position would be an excellent opportunity for someone in the financial field or having a background in business. An understanding of the logic of “checks and balances” is helpful. The Supervisory Committee is appointed by the Board of Directors and acts as the ‘watchdog’ of the credit union. They ensure records are maintained properly, honestly and accurately; verify proper internal controls are in place; make sure policies are established according to law and faithfully carried out; and ensure members receive the best possible service.
Contact Kathy Stanziale at 570-836-0332, for an application and/or for a written description of Supervisory Committee Member’s duties.

CO-OP Shared Branching Network
P&G Mehoopany Employees Federal Credit Union continually reviews our products and services to insure that we are providing the best solutions for our members’ needs. We have participated in the Shared Branching Network of Credit Unions for several years. After careful consideration, a decision was made to terminate participation in Shared Branching as of May 31, 2017. The increasing cost of providing this service coupled with limited usage across our entire membership and heightened demand on credit union resources in servicing non-members have proven to be unsustainable. As an alternative to shared branching, P&G Mehoopany Employees Federal Credit Union members have the ability to utilize their accounts through various methods including direct deposit, automatic payment, on-line banking, on-line bill payments, mobile banking, VISA
® debit card purchases,
automated teller machines (ATM) including the fee-free CO-OP ATM Network. Please contact us at (570) 836-3227 for assistance with any of these services.
Student Member Scholarships
P&G Credit Union will award a $1,000 scholarship to four student members. Students are required to write a 500 word essay on a predetermined topic. A copy of each essay with names blocked out for anonymity will be graded by a teacher. Scholarships will be awarded at the Credit Union’s Annual Dinner meeting at the Tunkhannock Moose Lodge, on May 6, 2017. Applications and guidelines will be available at all P&G Credit Union locations and online at pgmfcu.org. If you would like the application emailed to you, or if you have any questions please contact: Chelsea Benscoter
