(*) For systems based on SAP NetWeaver with usage type BI, it is possible to access InfoProvider, queries, query views, filters, characteristics and classic InfoSets directly through BICS. In other scenarios, data can be loaded into a SAP NetWeaver system with usage type BI. For small data volumes, a Virtual InfoProvider could also be used for direct access to a Non-BI SAP source system.

As a BI user, you may not be familiar with ABAP Workbench InfoSets. They are not related to BI InfoSets. ABAP Workbench InfoSets can be found in the SAP Easy Access Menu via SAP Menu Tools ABAP Workbench Utilities SAP Query or in the SAP Menu via System Services QuickViewer, button SAP Query. ABAP Workbench Infosets are also called Classic InfoSets in contrast to BI InfoSets.

Presentation Notes
The Dynamic Column Structure enables a data-driven hierarchy and drill-down of its columns, according to the setup of the query. This means, queries can now be displayed in exactly the same way as they were built in the BI environment.
