Bishop’s Visitation. In the coming

weeks Bishop Marcus will be making a Visitation of the parishes of the Calderdale area. As part of this Visitation he will be celebrating the 9am Mass at St

Malachy’s and 11am Mass at St. Columba’s on Sunday 2nd June.

Bishop Marcus will lead the annual Corpus Christi

Procession on Sunday 19th May at 3.00pm in the grounds of

Hinsley Hall, Leeds. Following the procession there is an

opportunity to picnic and join in the fun and games in Hinsley

Hall’s grounds

Leeds International Organ Festival. Monday lunchtime organ recitals will

take place at Leeds Cathedral from

1.10pm (after 12.30pm Mass) – 2.00pm.

Leeds City Organist, Darius Battiwall, will

start off the festival on 13th May

followed by Thomas Leech (Diocese of

Leeds) on 20th May. The programme

runs until 8th July.

World Youth Day at Home Festival.

7th – 9th June at Alton Castle, Staffordshire. A festival for young people aged 15 to 25yrs living in

the dioceses of Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Salford and

Shrewsbury. Festival Passes from £60; Day Passes from £20. More
