THE ROLE OF TEACHERS:
The teacher is the pivot of the society in bringing about a favourable change
among the new generation of students, based on the educational approach of the
CBSE. The 52 teachers of our Vidyalaya teach from their hearts, not merely from the
books. They render service as instructors, guides, mentors, counselors and
care-takers, playing a parental role, throughout. Among the 52 teachers, 27 teachers
are trained post-graduate teachers and the remaining 25 teachers are trained gradu-
ate teachers. The quality of education depends on the quality of competence of
teachers. All the teachers inculcate a value based education with the emphasis on
creating self- awareness, empathy, critical thinking, creative thinking, decision
making

I am very happy to say that in the last academic year all the 57 students
who have appeared for the X standard CBSE Examinations have passed with

MANURETiruchirappalli City Corporation Assistant Commissioner Mr. Prabhakaran, con-ducted awareness programme to our students.Mr. Prabhakaran, Asst. Commissioner of TrichyCity Corporation, instructed the students how to consume water economically and how to prepare natural ma-nures at home by themselves using vegetables and fruits waste etc. He motivat-ed with the slogan “Avoid Plastics and Save the Environment”.

CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME Our school teachers Mr. K.K.D. Sudarsanam, Mrs. R. Panbuselvi , Mrs. R.Manju and Mr. T. James attended this capacity building programme. This pro-gramme was about the Classroom Management.They got the knowledge about how to tackle the ambiguous pupils in the class room, enrich the interactive session in the classroom.

Indian Express Reporter organized the signature campaign to wish the Indian team for the success in the Semi final match of the World Cup Cricket Tour-nament. Our X standard viewers actively concur themselves in the campaign.

Dengue Fever Awareness Programme was conducted in our school assembly by Dr. Ponshanthi, Urban Primary Health Care, Madurai Road, Trichy-8. Our VII, IX and X pupils took a pledge in the assembly, “To keep the environment clean and healthy and recognize the symptoms of the dengue fever”.

RockcitySahodhaya conducted Shuttle Tournament for the students under 13 and 15 category at NR Public School, Perambalur. Our school shuttlers from VII and VIII standards compete in the tournament and got the participation certifi-cate.

The celebrations of 73rd Independence Day flavored with patriotic fervor, zeal and zest made it a very unforgettable occasion. To commemorate the sovereignty of our country, Dr. V. Kavitha, M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., Asst. Professor, Department of Tamil, Cauvery College for Women (Autonomous), Trichy unfurled the tricolour-flag.
Our Second Vice- President Sri. B. Chinnayanji felicitated on the wonderful occasion. Our chief guest distributed the prizes to the winners of the various competitions conducted in our school.

RockcitySahodaya conducted Inter- school sports, games and cultural events in Cauvery Global Senior Secondary School, Trichy. Our school boys participated in the Badminton event and got the certificates.

received the Bicycle from Sri. N. Ravichandran, Special officer and Commissioner, Tiruchirappalli City Corporation.

The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Friday 30th August 2019, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Secretary and Correspondent Sri. M.G.Guttal welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasized on the importance of sports in a child’s life.The chief guest Sri. N. Ravichandran, Special officer and Commissioner, Tiruchirappalli City Corporation took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students.The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the Assistant School Pupil Leader. An energizing equestrian display set the tone for the rest of the event. The students displayed the Mass drill, Pole stick drill, Yoga exercises, Pyramids, Kollatam, Silambam and Karate display mesmerizing the audience with their energetic performances.The Overall Championship Trophy was awarded to the Blue House. Our School Physical Education Master Mr. K. Srinivasan proposed the vote of thanks. We wind up our celebration with the na-tional anthem.

As per the instruction from the Trichy City Corporation, Urban Primary HealthCare Centre Dr. Ponshanthi, came to our school and injected the Diptheria and DT injection for the improvement of immunization for the students and also the staff of our vidyalaya.

DakshinaBharat PracharSabha (T), Trichy staff and RajajiVidyalaya (CBSE) school staff celebrated Gandhiji’s 150th birth anniversary in our school campus. Our new Secretary Sri . S Sridhar gave a speech about patriotism. Our students organized “SarvaMathaPrarthana” .

Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu ,Tiruchirappalli District, conducted District Level Carrom Competition 2019-2020 in Anna Stadium, Tiruchirappalli. Our School students R.VishnuVardhan from V standard ‘D’ section participated in the I-V Singles-Boys category and got the Third Prize.

Trichy District Level Open & Children Chess Tournament was organized by Powerful Queens Chess Academy at Mount Litera Zee School, Trichy. Our school students from classes VII to IX Standards took part in the categories Under 13 and Under 15 and won the Three places in the tournament.v

TamilnaduBudokan Karate Association organized the State Level Karate Championship 2019 at Anna Stadium. Our School G.Sanjai, R.Santhosh and S.So-bika took part in the Sub Junior under 12 Boys & Girls Kata and Weapon Kata Boys events and won Third places in the events.

TrichyRockcitySahodaya arranged ‘Pedagogical Leaders Meet’ at Breeze Residency on 5th November 2019 with Resource Person Ms. SonaliBatachariya. Our school Principal Mr.K.K.D.Sudarsanam and HOD of English Department Mrs.P.Priyadarshini indulged the meeting. Planning of Pedagogy and Segregation of art and Integration were discussed in the Meet.

In – connection with Bharathiyar Day & Republic Day, Taekwondo Competi-tion – 2019 was conducted for under 14 category. Our school students M.Hari Krishnan and S.MohammedAdhil from VII Standard got the Second prize in the competition.

INTER- SCHOOL COMPETITIONS In-connection with Rajaji’s Birthday Celebration we conducted Inter-School Competitions on 10.12.2019. Nearly 10 Schools in and around Trichy participated in this Inter-School Competition. Various com-petitions like Fancy Dress, Picasso Painting, Mime, Declamation, SolveerVelveer, Mathematics Quiz and Science Quiz. Dr. F. Selvakuma-ran, M.A., M.Phil., Phd., PGDJMC had kindly consented as the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function. This year Cauvery Global Senior Secondary won the Honorable “KulapathiA.P.C.Veerabahu Centenary Memorial Rolling Trophy” in Science Quiz and Sri VigneshVidyalaya, Koothur won the Honorable “KulapathiA.P.C.Veerabahu Centenary Me-morial Rolling Trophy” in Mathematics Quiz and clinched the Overall Championship Trophy.

On 10th January 2020, Our KG blooming buds celebrated the ‘Green Day’ to mark the “Importance of Green Environment” and to symbolize “Save Trees”.

On 13th January 2020, in our school campus we celebrated Pongal day with the colourful and joyful mood. In school premises, our teachers prepared pongal and distributed to all the students from KG to X standard.
CONCLUSION
“Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out. It is hard
work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of
what you are doing or learning to do”.
“The goal of true education is intelligence plus character”.
I hope that we have fulfilled the above words. I have explored my possible in
great depth and have come to a conclusion. As magazine promotes media
and performing arts, it gives me a wider target.
I thank the supportive management for volunteering their time to serve the
school community, not only approving funds to facilitate an improved learn-
ing experience for our students, but also being thoughtful and sensitive to
the needs.
I am sure it will help to reveal the active, cute and gifted pupils and teachers
will unite people of different age.
