RECYCLING Residents of Midstream were recently introduced (through the Midstream Magazine) to the estate’s recycling initia-tive, in partnership with Remade.

How does it work? The project was initially launched in Midstream Estate in April. Residents can participate by simply placing their recycling refuse bags on the pavement in front of their home. No registration is required. The specially marked green bags are available from the local Midstream SuperSpar.

Recyclable Items Glass, paper, tin, milk cartons, foil, polystyrene, packaging material, etc. can be placed in the same bag. No sorting of items is required.

Items not allowed include baby nappies, old / used motor oil, paint products, flammable liquids, food items, garden refuse, stones, grass cuttings or any other organic material.
