5-4-3-2-1 TrusteesThis has been a very productive month concerning improvements here at the lodge. Some are quite obvious while others are not obvious but very important. First of all, wehad many leaks in our roof during the recent storms. Thank you Mike Salazar for takingcare of this and Jerry Warren and Dave Cox continue to take care of multiple plumbingproblems for us. Dave Cox also fixed the fan in the kitchen. Thanks to all of you. Theobvious improvements are noticeable the instant you enter our building. Once again, thank you to Arch Coffey and Ruth Escalante for all the work they did on our vestibule. It is absolutely beautiful and, not only does it make all the members proud, but it willhelp Marilyn show off the hall for lease outs. Thank you to the many others that havehelped keep the lodge looking good and working well. We also completed our dictionary deliveries to all the 3rd graders in the West Covina/Covina school districts, other than one last school that will be done next month. Thechildren were thrilled with the dictionaries as you can tell if you read their thank youletters that are posted around the lodge. Thank you to the team for all their hard workthat made this happen, especially Danny Johnston, John Donovan, Dave Cox, MickeyLeivo, Don Backhofen, Pete Aranda, Mike Salazar, Jerry Warren and Wanda Horton.

Normally our hall rentalsand other Lodge functions allow us to operatewithout having to dip into our restricted funds, butwith the down turin the economy and increase inprices and sales tax, makes this action necessary. This notification is in accordance with GrandLodge Statues.
