Served on the Reading Curriculum Committee for the Reading/Language

Arts Program. We have planned new curriculum for RE 3030 and RE 4030,

and continue to align these courses with each other and with RE 3240.

2000-2001

Collaborated with Dr. Woodrow Trathen in the professional development of

Avery County teachers grades 3-8 in the area of Integrating technology

through Literature Circles. We were also involved in teaching reading and

spelling strategies, and assisting teachers with informal reading inventories.
