Surrey Sports Park opened in April 2010. Built by the University of Surrey this £36m elite training venue

is already a sporting hub in the South East of Britain. Its location, being close to London and both major

airports gives it an advantage over many other training venues especially with 2012 now fixed in the minds

of those chasing Olympic glory.

Within its first year Surrey Sports Park has facilitated many training camps in rugby, football, swimming,

basketball and netball as well as hosting many national and international events, most notably the IRB

Women’s Rugby World Cup.

On site accommodation, experienced professionals and state of the art facilities make Surrey Sports Park

the choice of champions.

topclassservicewearejust10minutesfromthebrandnewRadissonhotelinGuildfordtowncentre,and

25minutesfromtheworld-classPennyhillPark,whichiswellexperiencedinhostingeliteteamsthrough

their relationship with the Senior England Rugby team.

Surrey Sports Park has excellent relationships with these hotels and would be more than happy to facilitate

a stay on behalf of the team.

In terms of catering, Surrey Sports Park has a team of well-experienced chefs on site, who can provide a

wide range of nutritionally balanced meals to suit the needs of the team. Our staff will work closely with

your teams’ nutritionist to ensure that your athletes are being served the best possible meals to complement

their training and preparation schedules.

All meals can be served buffet-style or table service in a private dining area, reserved specifically for the use

of your team.
