1/ 4 Thin stamped overlay - This process entails applying a thin layer of TEXTURE-PAVE

Pre-Mixed Overlay material to existing concrete and embossing the material to give it theauthentic look and feel of stone, slate, tile, brick, etc. Once the material has hardend enoughto take light foot traffic, ULTRA-STONE Antiquing Stain is applied to create the natural colorvariations. 1/4 thin stamped overlays are ideal for exterior or interior concrete surfaces aseither a restoration to old concrete or as a fresh new seamless floor covering.

Splatter t extures - One of the easiest applications to install, splatter textures are created by

spraying THIN-FINISH Pre-Mixed Overlay through a drywall type, air compressor powered hoppergun. Color is achieved by adding PORTION CONTROL COLORANT directly to the material duringthe mixing stage. Splatter textures are idea for creating a decorative yet slip resistant finish forcommercial and residential pool decks, patios, sidewalks, driveways and more.

Slate trow el down f inishes - Also a very simple finish to install but without the detail of

masking that splatter textures require. Slate trowel downs are achieved by applying a thin layerof THIN-FINISH with a trowel of small squeegee while leaving small void areas on the surface.Color can be achieved with ULTRA-STONE Antiquing Stain, CHEM-STONE Reactive Stain orHYDRA-STONE Dye Stain to create a wide array of colors. Ideal for virtually any interior orexterior concrete surface.

MI CRO-FI NI SH seamless floor s - Designed as a answer to getting ultra-smooth, almost

polished finish without the use of heavy duty, expensive equipment. MICRO-FINISH is applied wita steel trowel and can transform old, stained, deteriorated concrete to the look and feel of a brandnew pour. This creates a fresh, clean palete for stains and dyes. An excellent interior floor finish forresidential, commercial or retail floors.

Chemical stained conventional concrete - Not everything we manufacture is just foroverlayments. Fact is, we sell hundreds of thousands of gallons of CHEM-STONE Reactive Stainand HYDRA-STONE Dye Stain that is applied directly to conventional concrete and sealed. Forany form of concrete, interior or exterior. Designers just love the design capability of theseproducts.

Flake broadcast finishes - These applications are perfect for garage floors, automobile ser-vice bay areas, warehouse floors and veterinarian clinics because they exhibit extremely high wearability and are easy to clean and maintain. In addition, these finishes are very easy to install. Simpprep the concrete surface, apply one coat of SPARTIC-ALL RM and broadcast the vinyl flakes ontthe surface. Allow to dry which only takes about two hours and repeat the process. This coat toowill dry in just two hours. Now clean up the loose flakes and apply a final coat of SPARTIC-ALLRM. Your customer can walk on the floor in a few hours and drive on it the next day.

Cementitious Overlay Products

All of our decorative concrete overlay systems are created with just three very different products. Listed below is a detailedlook at each product and the benefits of using the various products.

The first thing to understand about our overlay systems is that we got away from the old school technology of providing a

liquid modifier and a bag mix consisting of just sand and cement or providing mixing instructions for sourcing your ownsand and cement over a decade ago. This technology is archaic and provides too many opportunities for inaccurate meas-urements, poor quality mix designs and ultimately product failure. Our answer to this was to engineer a just add waterseries of overlay products that only required the installer to add water to the mix because the exact size, shape and composition of silica quartz, cement and hybrid polymer modifier is already in the bagged material.

Another reason we felt the pressing need to develop a just add water system was the lack of comfort architects, designerand specifiers had in specifying decorative concrete overlay finishes on large commercial projects due to the inconsistenciesassociated with liquid modifier products. Architects wanted to feel comfortable that the chance of error was removed fromthe process and the answer was Pre-Mixed Overlays...

THI N-FI NI SH Pre-Mixed Overlay:

Everything starts with THIN-FINISHas it acts as the first primer/base coat for all overlayment systems. The pH of thehybrid polymer modifier in THIN-FINISHis exactly 7.0 (neutral). This is critical because our recommended surfacepreparation changes the pH of the water in the otherwise closed capilaries of the concrete allowing the hybrid polymermodifier to create an actual chemical bond to the existing concrete surface rather than a typical mechanical bond like otheroverlay systems.

THIN-FINISHis also the most versatile mix in our product line, creating several finishes and applications ranging from:

Base coat, scratch coats, skim coats - Finishes applied with a trowel or squeegee that are extremely thin to act as the

initial white or colored coating.

Splatter texture and knockdown finish - A sprayed on mild texture using a air compressor powered drywall hopper gun.

This texture can also be lightly knocked down to create an orange peel finish replicating stucco and cool deckapplications.

Slate trowel down finishes - Also applied with a trowel to create an old world Italian slate or Venetian stucco type finish Bond coat - For literally bonding the 1/4 thin stamp material to the initial base coat to allow for proper water absorbtio

between the thicker 1/4 stamp coat and the substrate.

Broom finish repair - For restoring and resurfacing old, pitted, deteriorated concrete surfaces to look like new pourswhile increasing the strength and durability of the existing concrete surface.

Cementitious Overlay Products

TEXTURE-PAVE Pre-Mixed Overlay:

Applied to an initial coat of THIN-FINISH, TEXTURE-PAVE was engineered to be applied at 1/4 thickness and themembossed with stamp tools to create the authentic look of various stone, slate, tile, rock, brick, etc. just like conventional fu

depth concrete stamping.

TEXTURE-PAVE is also designed for use as a regrade and fill patching material for damaged concrete sufaces or heavedslabs where tear out and replacement simply isnt possible or cost effective. Due to the increased size and grain shape of thsilica quartz, TEXTURE-PAVE provides a much higher level of abrasion resistance compared to conventional concretesurfaces.

MI CRO-FI NI SH Pre-Mixed Overlay:

Originally designed as surface restoration product and an answer to garage and warehouse floor resurfacing whereoverlaying with just THIN-FINISH left a slight grainy surface instead of the desired steel trowel type finish. MICRO-FINISH was designed to create an ultra smooth finish on existing concrete substrates. Unlike the other Pre-MixedOverlays, MICRO-FINISH is not an overlay but more of a filler for filling in the void around the grain of silica quartz fromTHIN-FINISH.

One area of use that we did not anticipate but has turned out to be where most MICRO-FINISH is used is by acid stainflooring contractors. Rather than simply applying an acid or chemical stain directly to concrete which in many cases are notwithout blatant flaws, contractors are using MICRO-FINISH to create a fresh, clean, palete to apply a stain to. MICRO-FINISH can be integrally colored to create a concrete burnt finish or can be stained to create a wide array of colors.

Colors & Staining Products

The Pre-Mixed Overlays are certainly the foundation for creating successful decorative concrete overlay finishes but withoutcolor, property owners, designers and architects simply wouldn't recognize the aesthetic appeal of this systems.

We offer a wide variety of various coloring and staining products, each with a specific use and intention:

ULTRA-STONE Ant iquing Stain :

One of the most unique staining products available today for textures concrete overlays available. ULTRA-STONE AnitquinStain is packaged as a colorless, neutral base and if used as packaged will produce no coloring what so ever. ULTRA-STONE Antiquing Stain is colored with PORTION CONTROL COLORANT or SYNTHETIC PRIMARY PIGMENTS usingspecific mixing instruction provided in the Product Information Binder and creates hundreds of different colors.

Once ULTRA-STONE Antiquing Stain as been colored, simply brush or spray it to the textured concrete overlay being sureto completely flood the surface. Initially the color will resemble that of a slightly diluted paint. However, as it dries multiplehues and variations of color begin to form. Once dry, the surface can be immediately sealed. The end result is a color that

replicates that of natural stones and slate.

CHEM-STONE React ive Stai n:

Over the past 10 years, acid chemical stains have became a staple coloring method for concrete surfaces and floors. Origi-nating from various metallic salt by products, CHEM-STONE Reactive Stain has colored millions of square feet of concrete

since its inception. Unlike other stains or paints, CHEM-STONE is not a coating at all but rather chemically reacts with theconcrete to create the various colors as a permanent finish.

Available in 8 standard colors, CHEM-STONE color hues vary depending on concrete composition, weather and productdilution. The end result of concrete colored with CHEM-STONE is typically different from job to job due to the old worldeffect that it uniquely creates on concrete.

Colors & Staining Products

HYDRA-STONE Dye Stain:

As great as acid chemical stains such as CHEM-STONE are, limitations in color are always an issue with designers,architects and property owners. HYDRA-STONE Dye Stain changes the limitations for creating beautiful concrete floors

because it is available in just about any color you can desire. Although HYDRA-STONE Dye Stain is similar to CHEM-STONE in that it too is not a coating, HYDRA-STONE is a penetrating metallic dye.

REFLECTOR Enhancer:

Words cannot describe the unique coloring capability of REFECTOR Enhancer. Designed for use in virtually any clearsealer, REFLECTOR Enhancer brings a wide array of shiny, metallic color variations.

PORTI ON CONTROL COLORANT:

In this day and age, every decorative concrete overlay company offer a colorant product for pigmenting their materials butours is quite a different pigmenting systems. Unlike other colorants, PORTION CONTROL COLORANT is not simply an oxidbased colorant that increases efflouresence or alkali issues. Instead, it is manufactured from 100% synthetic pigments tomake it easy to use and create color consistency every time. PORTION CONTROL COLORANT is also extremely versatile,

being the coloring product for the Pre-Mixed Overlays such as THIN-FINISH, TEXTURE-PAVE and MICRO-FINISH but is also for pigmenting ULTRA-STONE Antiquing Stain.

The packing system for PORTION CONTROL COLORANT is also quite unique. Packaged in quart bottles with a built inmeasuring device right on the bottle, PORTION CONTROL COLORANT is available in just ten different bottled colors. Eachbottle contains a dispensing chart right on the label allowing each bottle to create 3 completely different colors for a total o30 available colors.

Sealers & Protective Coatings

Sealers and protective coatings are a necessary aspect to decorative concrete overlay and custom seamless flooring to pre-serve the finishes for long term performance. Understand that there is not just one sealer that works for every situation anthis is why we manufacture several different sealers and protective coatings for use depending on need.

CSS EMULSI ON:

Without a doubt, CSS EMULSION is used on more exterior decorative concrete from overlays to stamped concrete thanany other sealer on the market. From the first job that a contractor uses CSS EMULSION on, they simply do not use anyother off the shelf acrylic sealer again.

Like other typical clear, solvent-borne sealers, CSS EMULSION had an acrylic resin content and can be applied with asprayer or roller to protect exterior conventional concrete, decorative concrete or concrete overlays. But that is where thesimilarities stop. CSS EMULSION has a moderate level of methly-methacrylate (MMA) laced in with the acrylic resin togreatly increase abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and overall wearability. In addition, CSS EMULSION is onlyavailable as a 53% solid concentrate with various reduction instructions depending on the application. Concentrated means

a huge cost savings to the installer.

CSS-V EMULSI ON:

With all of the regulations in certain markets pertaining to VOC restrictions, CSS-V EMULSION is the perfect alternative toCSS EMULSION. Consisting of the same acrylic and MMA components but exempt solvents, CSS-V EMULSION has a VOcontent less than 150 g/l.

Due to the fact that CSS-V EMULSION is engineered to be VOC compliant, solids reduction is not required or evensuggested. CSS-V EMULSION already contains an exempt workable solvent providing installers with 26% solids.

WCS EMULSI ON:

In a perfect world, water-borne sealer technology would be equally as durable as solvent-borne but we don't live in that pefect world yet. However, in cases where solvent products absolutely cannot be used do to safety or flammability concernsWCS EMULSION is a idea sealer for general everyday, light traffic use.

Dont just consider WCS EMULSION any old water-borne sealer Conventional water-borne sealer simply dissolve anacrylic resin into water. WCS-EMULSION actual has a water reducing, exempt solvent to carrier a higher and strongersolids content providing a higher level of strength and durability compared to other water-borner sealers.

E100 Series Epox y:

You have heard it time and time again, Epoxies are epoxies are epoxies because they are all the same. Well, we beg todiffer and challenge that ridiculous comment. The E100 Series epoxy line consists of true 100% solid polyamide resins, no

fillers claiming to be solids only to decrease product manufacturing costs. You will not find a stronger, more durable epoxycoating (clear or pigmented).

SPARTI C-ALL RM:

Experienced installers know that their time and labor is always their highest cost of jobs and SPARTIC-ALL RM isengineered to literally cut that time in half or more. Originally developed as a super fast cure coating for steel structuressuch as bridges and sky scrappers, polyaspartic ester coatings provided a cured surface in just a few hours instead of days.SPARTIC-ALL RM is based off of the same technology but formulated for use as a fast cure floor coating.

SPARTIC-ALL RM is ideal for use as a clear protective coating for interior concrete or decorative concrete overlay flooringas well as an industrial coating where time is critical.
