Eliminating Fast Food Restaurant
The people in the globe are busy nowadays because of their busy schedule. Therefore,
they do not have enough time for preparing their food or to cook healthy and homely food.
According to Merriam-Webster, encyclopedia, fast food is, "designed for ready availability"
(Merriam-Webster, 2012). However, there is wide arguments that fast are not good for the
body. This paper is talk about the elimination of fast food restaurant due to the reasons are
those, fast food contains fatty ingredients that make the individuals fat and addicted, it does
not have appropriate balancing proteins .
Fast food contains fatty ingredients that make the individuals fat and addicted. Once
the individual eats from a fast food restaurant, he or she has the tendency to consume it again
due to the taste. For making the food tastier, they had to add more oil and fatty oils which
have high health to the human body especially for children. As per the New Scientist, "Fats
and simple sugars can act on the brain in the same way as nicotine and heroin" (New
Scientist, 2003). This, that the regular consumption of fast food can be similar to consuming
drugs.
Fast food does not have appropriate balancing proteins. Even though fast food are
considered to be containing more nutritious, it is often seen that they contain more that the
accepted levels in the human body. According to Elizabeth M. Ward, "fast foods we chose
had to have the highest levels of protein (and fiber, when possible) and the fewest grams of
processed carbs, sodium, and fat" (Ward, 2005).
On the other hand, there are advantages for the consumption fast food. Nowadays the
society has in a busy and has lot of things to do. Its ha rd to find time to cook a meal. A
benefit of fast food is its convenience. Despite what time you are hungry, or where you are,
there's almost certainly you can find a fast food restaurant. According to Bruce Horovitz,
