“Awe for God” Ecclesiastes 5:1-7

Key Text: “Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong” (Eccl. 5:1) Key Thought: God insists that we approach Him with awe and reverence.

Prayer Gatherings

Each Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. there is a prayer gathering held at Elim. Also, there is a Wednesday morning prayer group meeting in Pastor’s office @

7:00 a.m. You are encouraged to come and pray with the team members and share your requests/praises.

Prayer Chain

The prayer network is used when special needs arise during the week. Call Judy at the church 764-6920 Monday thru Thursday

8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. otherwise call or text Tasha Munger @ (309) 281-8784 with your request. If no answer, you may leave your

concern on the answer machine and it will be relayed ASAP.

PRE-WORSHIP SERVICE

Starting this morning there will be a Pre-Worship

Service @ 10:15 a.m. Those that are interested are

invited to join in. Regular service will begin @ 10:30 as

usual, and you are asked to fellowship in the gathering

area and be respectful of those worshipping when

entering the sanctuary. See Leonna Ellis with ???? _______________________________________________________________________

new triad groupings. They are on the table in the gathering area. See Julie Wells with questions.

The next meeting of the Christian Service Brigade will be Monday,

February 5th @ 6:30 p.m. All young boys and their fathers are
