ELEVEN KINGStrilogy

Raised from the ashes of an old war, the continent of Relltestra has lived a long period of peace. The shadows of the past (the beloved angels and the feared sorcerers) have left, taking all kinds of magic with them to their graves.

But the Era of the First Steel, when the only kind of “enchantment” that existed was the forging of metals in the heat of the oven, is coming to an end, and darkness is returning. The Kings who rule in Relltestra take up arms with a clear aim: To bring back the power of the forgotten beings!

In the heart of this turmoil, the destiny of three young people turn out to be connected: Sttanlik, a simple working man whose life is turned upside down after a mysterious voice woke him up in the night to tell him that the city he lives in is going to be attacked by armed forces; Vanza, a nomad woman who’s body possesses two souls after she was brought back from the world of the dead through a mysterious ritual; and Ckroy, a seaman on his first trip, who is confronted with an invincible enemy, a being able to control the fire.

Each and every step takes Rellestra closer to war, and they know the only thing they can trust in are their arms.

Blades are sharpened and ready for use. Shields will break, swords will be destroyed, and in the end, there will be left nothing but rivers of tears and broken crowns ...

The continent of Relltestra has been living in peace for many years. But then, one cold night, young Sttanlik has a terrible nightmare.

“Wake up!” he hears. With these words, spoken by a voice inside his head, Sttanlik’s world began to change. The owner of the voice introduces himself as Aggel, and begs Sttanlik to flee from his city, Sëngesi, and to meet him in a far-away forest.

With nothing but two spears, Sttanlik leaves his home. Just outside the city walls, he is attacked by the Scarlet Guard, the royal guard of Tinop’gtins, and is saved by a mysterious archer.

Meanwhile, the nomadic tribe of the Yuki who live near Sëngesi is chased out from its camp and Vanza, the chief ’s daughter, must leave on a mission in order to save her tribe. At the same time, the Runners of the Dark, fighting against tyranny in Relltestra, prepare themselves for battle against the Scarlet Guard. Sttanlik finally manages to meet Aggel, but the encounter turns out to be quite different from what he had expected.

After the End of the Battle of Idjarni, the forces of the Runners of the Dark separate.

Fafuhm, their leader, takes a small group of selected warriors to save Bez’lut, the prince of Muivil, on the dangerous island of Perreall. The other group, which includes Sttanlik, has the mission to re-conquer the city of Sëngesi, which has been occupied by the Scarlet Guard.

Ckroy and his friends risk of going to the Arena of the Blood Lake where he is captured and tortured by Aram Porc Sebum, the mistress of the Arena.

When Fafuhm’s forces arrive, Ckroy’s luck turns, since among the prisoners is Paptur, the archer who saved the Runners from defeat.

The prisoners unite to flee from the Arena, but unfortunately, Bez’lut is not among them.

They manage to escape, in a spectacular journey across the open sea, before arriving in the city of Ceratotherium, up in the north, where another battle is being waged …

Meanwhile, Sttanlik and his companions manage to free Sëngesi from the Scarlet Guards.

Then Aggel appears to Sttanlik again, asking him for help ...
