    India is the second-largest market orelevators in the world,followed by China.The market is growing 10-13 . The urbanpopulation was 77 million as per [ heJ2011 census, and this [number] is expectedto grow to 590 million by the end o 2030.This will translate to vertica l growth incities that are starved o construction

Its portfolio includ es complete kit s fornew in sta llati ons and m oderniz t ion s, as well as homelifts. Its fi rst offering was the MDSl do or syste m,which ha s been w ell rece ived in th e country, andsevera l thous an d of hese are in use a ll across thecountry. Sum ant h e labor ates:

    Wittur decided to enter with basic door systemsinitially, as this is a major share in the componentbusiness and over the years has added ramed glassdoors heavy-duty multi-panel doors modula r carsystems etc. We will grow our portfolio based onmark et needs. We aim to be the market lead er in the

    region and also be the most preferred supplier ocomponents with full capability to design andmanufacture as per the market needs in the region.

    In 2012, we started with just two variants o hedoor but as we grew closer to our customers andunderstood thei1· needs we [produced] more than 40variants [of] our doors includingvision panelsfram ed glass doo rs and [a variety o unique finishes.Also we have introduced the MCSJ range o abinsin India which cater to the middle and high end othe elevator markets. The cabins with glass panels areunder developmentand, very soon, will beintr oduced in the market.

Toemanufacturing and investment destinationwill utiliz e th e 1,483-km-long , highcapac ity western Dedi cated RailwayFreight Corridor as it s backb one. Toeobjective is to increa se the shar e ofmanufacturing in the gross dom esticproduct of th e co untr y and create s m ar tsustainable cities, where manufacturing

    will be the key economic dri ver. Theproje ct is featured in KPMG's 100 Mos tInnov ative Global Projects and is whatSumanth ca lls one of the world 's mo stinno va tive and inspirin g infr astructureprojects .

    Twenty-four manufacturing citie s areen vis aged in the prosp ec tive plan of th e
