ASIS II

ASIS II-lift inspection system – a convenient solution forweightless testing of lifts

The test system decreases the applied load and forces for lifts in case of testing.

The building and the surrounding is treated with care, especially thefloor and the access to the lift.

The test system also decreases the physical impact of the peopleworking in the field.

It enables the user to take precise statements regarding safetyrelevant parts of the lift, like the progressive safety gear, the tractionrate, or the relevelling system.

Easy to handle. A complete test system in one carrying case.

Features of the ASIS II-inspection system:

Testing the traction rate of electric lifts

Balance of the counterweight and its correct dimensioning

Testing the relevelling system of hydraulic lifts

Deceleration of a progressive safety gear Deceleration of a progressive safety gear

Assessment for the speed, or the accleration and stopping distanceof the lift

 Scale function for different applications

Check the Tripping speed of the overspeed govenor

ASIS II data communication

Data communication

The data communication from the car to the machine room or to theswitch cabinet is realised with a local area network (LAN) using thetravelling cabel of the lift. The ASIS II-analyser ist connected via a network adapter with the socket outlet on the car roof.

A second network adapter in the machine room or in the switch A second network adapter in the machine room or in the switchcabinet of the lift is connected to a notebook.

You can build up easily and economically a data communication via existing power supply.

 Data communication

There is also the possibility to connect the ASIS II-analyser directlywith the notebook or to use a wireless local area network (Wi-Fi).

The notebook ist used for live data logging from the ASIS II-analyser and evaluation of the test result.

Save the test result and lift relevant data in a data base

 Traction rate test:

The ASIS II-analyser ist put on the car roof and connected via LAN or Wi-Fi to the notebook.

The traction rate test of an electric lift is carried out with a forcemeasurement and an empty car by fixing the lifting slings and thetwo force sensors between the car and the guide rails and drivingdown with inspection speed.down with inspection speed.

Our patent-registered measurement method takes into accountthe car and the counterweight, the person on the car roof and theropes.

The limit line according to TRA 200 or EN 81-1 is integrated in thetest software and the traction rate is shown on the display of thenotebook. The user will get quick and easily the test result.

ASIS II relevelling system test

 Revevelling system test:

For the test of the relevelling system of a hydraulic lift the user canchoose between two alternative measurement methods:

A direct force measurement of the hydraulic jack in the pit of the lift, or

a pressure measurement of the hydraulic system (control valves) in the machine room of the lift.

ASIS II Progressive safety gear test

 Progressive safety gear test:

The ASIS II-analyser with build-in acceleration sensor is put on thecar roof and connected via travelling cable or Wi-Fi to thenotebook.

The empty car will go down with rated speed and the speedgovenor will tripped manually.govenor will tripped manually.

The measured value of the empty car´s deceleration is calculatedby the test software for the car with rated load and free fall condition.

The measurement and data logging is shown live on the display ofthe notebook.

ASIS II Speed assessment (brake test)

Assessment for the speed, or the acceleration and stoppingdistance of the lift

The ASIS II-analyser ist put on the car roof and connected via LAN or Wi-Fi to the notebook.

With the build-in acceleration sensor the user can check the speed, the acceleration and deceleration and the stopping distance of thethe acceleration and deceleration and the stopping distance of thelift (brake test).

ASIS II Scale function

 Scale function:

With the scale function using the force sensors the user can check e.g. the car or the counterweight up to 4000 kg.

Also the balance of the counterweight and it´s correct dimensioncan checked easily.

ASIS II Tripping speed test

Tripping speed test of the overspeed govenor

The ASIS II-Speedbox (optional) enables the user to check thetripping speed of the overspeed govenor also in an easy andconvenient way.
