Urban life is becoming hectic and chaotic by the day resulting in healthy recreation being missed out of our daily schedules. While we love to cheer our favourite sports stars every time they play, many of us are lazy enough to even wake up early mornings. Maintaining a balance of work as well as recreation is essential and preached by health experts. Every real estate project proposed today has a well-equipped club as a part of it. But the sad part is, by the time when possessions are offered the clubs are either not completely constructed or either, are not fully functional. This is quite a letdown for those looking forward to move into their own homes and enjoy the quality living in a gated community. However, TATA Housing has taken utmost care.

TATA Primanti is one of the few projects around, which have a nearly functional and well-furnished club and recreation centre even before the possessions are offered. So technically by the time people start moving in their residences at Primanti, expected in 2016, the club will be ready to serve its residents. Considering the busy schedules one follows today, an activity centre within a minute or two walking distance come as a respite. Every recreational centre or club serves three major purposes, one is the health facilities, second is the sports facilities and the third is having spaces for social interactions. The club at TATA Primanti justifies all three with a considerably good planning and distribution of activities.

HEALTH FACILITIES

At Primanti the health facilities are already completed and are available to use even before people are there to live in the township. This includes a plunge pool adjacent to the spa and sauna section in the club. The spa and sauna is accompanied with massage rooms, which have warm lighting and a design that promotes a relaxing ambience. Along with this, a well-equipped gym accompanied by a dedicated room for yoga and meditation, are just a bliss for the health conscious users moving in Primanti. Quality of machines and equipments itself speaks for itself. Moreover one can overlook the greens of the complex and the swimming pool in the midst of the cardio session.

SPORTS FACILITIES

The needs of any Sports enthusiast are taken care of in a well-planned manner and are nearing completion. At Primanti, TATA Housing, built two squash courts and not one, along with table tennis room and billiards room. Moreover there is an indoor badminton court which is not seen at many places at Gurgaon. With this outdoor courts for basketball, badminton and tennis are also ready to use. A large rectangular swimming pool is part of the completed club building, the pool is surrounded by wooden decks and seating spaces, with a number of well-equipped changing rooms. The pool and its size are decent enough to take care of people passionate about swimming.

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

Like every other facility at TATA Primanti, a great care has been taken for recreational social spaces. A restaurant open to sky with view of the pool is just a minute detail one notices. A full-fledged bar area adjacent to pool side with a view over the pool is something soothing to eyes. A mini theatre which caters 15 people at a time is also available on bookings for people who wish to watch a movie with family and friends over the weekends. A small party hall for gatherings is just another addition to the package. Social interactions hold a place of great importance and understanding the need TATA Primanti has taken a wise step forward to fulfil the same.

The club has an area of about 25,000 sq ft, and for a complex of this size, the size of the club building is more than average. With central courtyard planning the club has abundant natural light and ventilation throughout. The building follows a contemporary theme and thus pergolas, sculptures and walls have a finish matching the theme, falling in the right place. Another feature

worth noticing is a number of small cubes on the roof of the gym which make the space look even more interesting in addition to the glass fitted wall, that seamlessly blends with amenities. TATA Housing recently invited its clients to the club house and one can find the testimonials shared by these visitors right at the entrance.

AAHANA, THE CORBETT WILDERNESS – THE PERFECT GETAWAY DESTINATION

Aahana The Corbett Wilderness is located about 7 kms from Ramnagar city. The Fourteen acres property has a walking track of over a kilometre. The back wall of the property is caressing the salubrious teak and sal forest of Bijrani Zone. The property has 48 luxurious rooms, divided into 6 categories- Corbett Club, Jungle Lore, Jim’s Retreat, Ranger Suite, Aahana Family Suite, The Villa. The resort is ecological friendly and have Tiger Toff award to its credit. The property has swimming pool, gym, spa, lotus pond, organic garden and many other attractions. Aahana also provide nature walk for the wildlife lovers. Not only this, out of 580 species of birds in the Corbett more than 130 birds visit Resort regularly. The resort witness, numerous varieties of exotic coloured Butterflies flittering away in the entire grounds. Bird watching is a thrilling and educational activity of the Aahana resident, especially during the Monsoon season when the three Zones are closed for the tourist. Dhangari Gate for Dhikala Zone closes on 15th June and reopens on18th November. Bijrani and Durga Devi Zones close on 30th June and reopen on 1st October every year. Jhirna Zone remains open throughout the year for the tourist but due to torrential rainfall the Authorities temporarily close this gate also. When these Gates close during the Monsoon season, there are other delightful options for the guests, like a visit to Sitabani Forest, drive upto Patkot, a picnic to Tumariya Dam and a visit to Kotabag, Garjia Temple, Dhangari Museum. Sitabani is very famous at Corbett National Park. Wildlife safari is more preferable when people don’t get permit of Corbett Tiger Reserve, and also when the roads in the forest wash away. During monsoon all Corbett zones are closed but Sitabani buffer zone remains open round the year. The ancient temple of Sitabani holds mythological importance for Hindus, it is believed that this is the place where Sita stayed during her exile and raised her sons Luv and Kush. The Sitbani temple has a white stone statue of Sita without Rama, holding her sons. One can also see wildlife such as spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, elephants and leopards along with number of species of birds and reptiles. Tumariya Dam is about 40 Kms from our Resort and takes about 45 minutes drive from here. The trip will prove educational for children as well as for adults as there are numerous migratory birds like greater cormorant, lesser cormorant, mallard, common teals, ruddy shelduck, common shelduck, northern pintail, etc. flock to this place.

Rooms of the Resort are constructed strictly looking to the Eco friendly measures that if the ACs are switched off one can still have the fresh and natural feel of the jungle breeze through the open and wire-meshed windows and high ceiling. All throughout the surrounding gardens the property has mosquito repellent grass. The resort have Zero waste policy, solid waste are recycled. Use of CFL, Led lights saves power and reduces the emission of carbon dioxide from the gensets. A unique Sewage Treatment Plant provides and restores our water used for large gardens. The black water from the bathrooms and kitchen is treated through Cannae root zone system gives us recycled clean water which are store in huge tanks for sprinkling in the gardens. For the safety of the guests and children use of pesticides is discouraged inside the resort. With today’s hectic lifestyle, it is important to occasionally slow down & treat yourself.
