Three types of passes we will look at today are: Bounce Pass Chest Pass Overhead Pass

Bounce Pass

A bounce pass is a pass that strikes the floor before it reaches the receiver.

Ideally the pass hits the floor about halfway between the passer and target.

The pass is generally the slowest type of pass of the three we will talk about today.

Lets look at some pictures of bounce passes.

Examples of the Bounce Pass

The Chest Pass

A chest pass is a two-handed pass thrown from the passer’s chest in a straight line to the chest area of the receiver.

It is the fastest pass of the three we will talk about today.

Overhead Pass The overhead pass is a pass that is thrown

from over the passers head to a teammate. Players will use this pass to get the ball down

the court in a hurry. Here are a couple examples of the overhead
