Electronic Theses & Disser tations Center The OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) Center is an open access platform of research conducted at 30 OhioLINK member institutions. The OhioLINK ETD Center is an in-house custom- built repository, designed to increase access and collaboration for researchers. The collection includes a multitude of research fields, ranging from science and technology to music and art. The ETD Center can be browsed by institution, department and author, as well as searched by subject, year, committee members and other categories. Students, faculty and staff across Ohio, and worldwide, benefit from access to Ohio’s original research in the ETD Center. In 2015, the OhioLINK ETD Center integrated ORCID identifiers (iDs), through display and search capabilities. Some institutions now require current students to have an ORCID iD, which is free to create and provides a way to uniquely distinguish researchers. ORCID (orcid.org) integration allows for better sharing of information and also ensures credit is given to the proper author. 1,000 2,000 3,000 4,000 5,000 6,000 Average ON AVERAGE 3,700+ ARE ADDED EVERY YEAR 57,000+ of new ETDs since 2015 integration 225+ COUNTRIES visited the ETD Center since 2001 launch in 2015 6+ MILLION DOWNLOADS 21% WITH ORCID IDS 300+ DISCIPLINES 30+ MILLION DOWNLOADS since 2001 launch 30 SCHOOLS total electronic theses & dissertations available ohiolink.edu/etd

Electronic Theses & Dissertations Center

The OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) Center is an open access platform of research conducted at 30 OhioLINK member institutions. The OhioLINK ETD Center is an in-house custom-built repository, designed to increase access and collaboration for researchers.

OhioLINK by the Numbers

OhioLINK is composed of 121 member libraries, distributed among 93 different Ohio colleges and universities. The Ohio Library and Information Network (OhioLINK) includes the State Library of Ohio, 16 public university libraries, 52 independent college libraries, 23 two-year college libraries, 16 branch campus libraries, 8 law school libraries and 5 medical school libraries. OhioLINK delivers both a rich array of resources to the students, faculty and researchers of member institutions, plus substantial savings to the state of Ohio. Support from member institutions and the Department of Higher Education have created a collection of shared print and digital materials that rivals the research collections available at the top university libraries in the United States and internationally.
