PROGRAMMING DISPLAY

The electronic lube meter liquid crystaldisplay may be programmed for Eng-lish or Metric increments. Perform thefollowing procedure to change the unitsof measure.

Remove three screws attachingregister module to the meterhousing.

Press and hold PROGRAMMINGswitch located on bottom of mod-ule. Unit of measure will flash.

Press RESET switch until desiredunit appears.

Release PROGRAMMINGswitch.

Reinstall register module inmeter housing and tightenscrews.

OPERATION

After all entrapped air and/or foreign par-ticles are removed from the supplyline, clean oil continuously passesthrough the metering chamber by enter-ing the inlet port, displacing the piston,and exiting the outlet port. Each oscilla-tion of the piston displaces a given vol-ume of fluid. Controlled clearances be-tween the piston and chamber wall in-sure accurate measurements. As thepiston oscillates, its center hub rotates amagnet which activates the microproces-sor.

Depress the RESET button with yourthumb to reset the totalizer to zero beforeeach use. Squeeze the trigger handle todispense the desired amount of fluid.

Total amount used from inventory canbe check periodically by depressing theTOTAL button If the units dispensed arepints, quarts, or gallons, the totalizer willread in gallons. If the units dispensedare liters, the totalizer will read in liters.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

All meters are shipped with a unit ofmeasure preprogrammed at the factory.A built in “error detection” feature willcause the numbers on the LCD to flash ifthe microprocessor does not receive theproper pulse rate. If this should occur,the entire register module should bereplaced. Refer to REPAIR.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Lincoln, A Pentair Company, warrants that lubrication equipment, materials dispensingequipment and other related equipment manufactured by it will be free from defects inmaterial and workmanship during the one (1) year following the date of purchase. Ifequipment proves to be defective during this warranty period, it will be repaired orreplaced without charge, provided that factory examination indicates the equipment tobe defective. To obtain repair or replacement, it must be shipped, transportationcharges prepaid, with proof of date of purchase to a Lincoln authorized Warranty andService Center, within the one (1) year following the date of purchase.

This warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only. This warranty does notapply to equipment damaged from accident, overload, abuse, misuse, negligence,faulty installation or abrasive or corrosive materials, or to equipment repaired or alteredby anyone not authorized by Lincoln to repair or alter the equipment. This warrantyapplies only to equipment installed and operated according to the recommendations ofLincoln or its authorized field personnel. No other express warranty applies to lubrica-tion equipment, materials dispensing equipment and other related equipment manu-factured by Lincoln.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES applicable to lubrication equipment, materials dis-pensing equipment and other related equipment manufactured by Lincoln INCLUDINGTHE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULARPURPOSE, WILL LAST ONLY FOR ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PUR-CHASE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IM-PLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TOYOU.

In no event shall Lincoln be liable for incidental or consequential damages. The liabil-ity of Lincoln on any claim for loss or damage arising out of the sale, resale, or use oflubrication equipment, materials dispensing equipment, and other related equipmentshall in no event exceed the purchase price. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THEEXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSOHAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

REPAIR

Repair is limited to replacement of listedservice parts. Special procedures andtools are required. If the register moduleis replaced, the lube meter must be
