ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FUNCTIONS, NRL UNITS CONFIGURATIONS Configuration of the command card on the basis the of machine model The system has been developed to be able to manage the NRL-H models, it is therefore necessary to configure the card on the basis of the machine model it is to be installed on. The microprocessor then will be able to find the right software to run, according to the card DIP switch settings, and to the accessories that might have been installed. The meanings of the three dip switches are given in the following figures. Through these it is possible to select the machine model and the type of functioning. The control card gets the DIP switch configuration at power-on time, therefore the DIP switches have to be configured with the Card powered off.

Software Configuration Parameters The software that is programmed on the card GR3 includes its configuration parameters, which correspond to a standard version of the car. In relation to the different versions and accessories available for the correct behavior of the software should verify that all configuration parameters of the software are correct. This procedure still has to be testing the car at the end of the line and in the case of cards replaced in parts. In order to expedite this operation, the process involves going to check and change only those parameters that are different than the standard version precharged.
