Versatileinstallation

Thanks to the offer of several models and highly flexible configuration, the controller can be adap-ted to suit a variety of applications, from the singleunit to the whole system.The hardware platforms have several I/O configurations and several sizes to give maximum versatility of installation. The expansion modules enable to increase the number of resources to control, so to meet even the most complex application needs

User interface

The whole Energy Flex range has front plates thatcan be customised with icons and manufacturer’slogo for a market differentiation.The 4-digit display with 18 icons, 7 of which configurable, offers a clear readability, with dedica-ted units of measures for each value displayed.Using the 4 push buttons it is possible to activate allthe main controller functions, like modifying thecurrent display, selecting the operating mode, acti-vating manual defrost and switching the controlleron/off, as well as browse the menu organized intofolders. The access to the folders and parameters isconfigurable through three different levels: enduser, service and constructor. The Energy Flexrange is completed by different remote terminals:with a small-dimension led display for panel moun-ting (SKP10) and the others with a backlit LCDdisplay (SKP22L, SKW22L), with modern and attrac-tive design that easily fits in with the furnishing, forwall mounting.

Connectivityand control

All Energy Flex controllers are equipped with aserial connection which enables the easy integra-tion with the plant supervision, monitoring andmanagement systems.The management of most of the systems functionsis possible through the ModBus standard communication protocol, ensuring a complete con-trol of the plant.Thanks to the connectivity moduls RRaaddiiooAdapter,LLaannAdapter or BBuussAdapeter, it is possible to exploitthe connections Wireless or the Ethernet or even RS 485 for the remote plant management. The newSW DDeevviicceeManager, is not only used to monitorand record the system variables in real time, sim-plifying the plant set-up for the lab tests, but ena-bles also a quick controller programming.With an optional Copy Card it is possible to uploadand download the controller parameter map forfast configuration, download the alarm history andupload the software applications.

Energysaving

High capacity within the microprocessor's memoryequips the instrument with advanced adjustmentalgorithms . This includes a modulating control ofthe water pump, dynamic defrost, analogue con-densation control and heat pump deactivation forvery low external temperatures . These controls canbe used to reduce energy consumption within theinstalled system with significant impact. The addi-tion of a high number of analogue outputs pro-vides increased flexibility so that any kind of utilitycan be managed with power modulation toincrease the energy efficiency of the device.
