ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE DEWATERING PUMPSThe WEDA range (50 Hz)

2

Positioning a pump into water in a safe and efficient manner is critical to achieving a straightforward dewatering operation. An example of this

portability is the fact that you can even achieve a flow of around 1300 litres per minute with a pump that only weighs 20 kg. Some models are up to 15 percent lighter than comparable products in their class; which makes a world of difference when you’re on the water’s edge and need to start pumping quickly.

TRUE PORTABILITY

PERFORMANCE

WEDA pumps are easy-to-install, offer long intervals between services and are designed with ease of maintenance in mind. Their modular construction simplifies separation of the principal components and all stainless-steel fastenings

are the same size. This allows one tool to complete the operation. Seals, impellers and other parts can be changed in minutes. For larger pumps in the WEDA range an Instant Service Pack represents the optimum service solution by providing mechanical seals, bearing oil and housing oil for easy change at the work site.

The pumps feature an external plug for grease filling and offer a variety of connection options, with the flexibility of changing the flow direction from 90-180 degrees.

The improved aluminum alloy construction provides higher corrosion resistance over a wide range of applications. Within the product range, units are capable of handling suspended solids of up to 2”

(50 mm) dimension through the pump, dependent upon the model and specification.

Pump operation is not about pumping water at any cost, so energy efficiency has not been ignored. Overall, the WEDA submersible pump range can consume up to 20 percent less energy than comparable models.

SIMPLE SERVICE

WEDA dewatering pumpsAll submersible pumps may look alike, but it’s what’s on the inside that matters. Dewatering applications are critical operations and you need to rely on a pump that is guaranteed to perform. Here are five reasons why you should choose WEDA pumps:

BUILT BETTER – BUILT TO RESIST CORROSION

We have a global reputation for the build quality of our products. That level of excellence is evident in all the components of the WEDA range of submersible pumps, such as its

unique sealing system, nitrile rubber linings for all wetted parts, Class F insulated stators with thermo switches in all windings and hardened chrome clog-free impellers.

These individual parts add up to a lot, but what also contributes to the Pump’s superior performance are value-added features. These include rotation and phase failure protection, which prevents the risk of the impeller rotating in the wrong direction and stops the pump in the event of phase failure. They also come equipped with reinforced cable entry points and lightweight, high efficiency motors that are available in a wide-range of voltages. For added peace of the mind, the motors are protected from overheating by an overload/over-current auto stop function.

POWERFUL & PORTABLE DESIGNED FOR EASY SERVICE 250-16.500 l/min

More than 15 variations are available in the WEDA range. We believe the most efficient approach to satisfying your needs is by providing pumps that are tailor-made for specific site conditions and material handling needs.

The range has recently been further extended with the launch of WEDA+ models that offer improved performance together with increased portability. New features of the WEDA+ range include, among

others, double row bearings to enhance lifetime and an improved aluminum alloy construction that provides higher corrosion resistance. They also come equipped with a new motor design offering higher efficiency, plus reduced start current, and hydraulic ends designed for higher efficiency and improved LCC.

Meanwhile, for tougher applications, the WEDA Sludge and Slurry range of pumps are available with a specific gravity specification of 1.4.

Unique Sealing System

You can change seals, impeller and other parts in minutes. For larger pumps, the WEDA ISP (Instant Service Pack) is the optimum maintenance solution. The ISP contains the seals, bearing oil and oil housing and can easily be changed at the work site.

Modular Design

Machined slots make it easy to separate the various parts of each pump. All stainless steel bolts and nuts used are the same size. This makes it possible to use one effective tool to complete the entire operation.

WEDA Small rangeThe range of WEDA Small pumps are portable, light weight and easily maintained. They provide a simple, cost effective solution for light duty applications. The design of the pump’s outer jacket for cooling and thermo-protection keeps it running safely under various conditions. The triple shaft seal assures a long life time and the semi vortex wet-end minimizes maintenance.
