CDVI offer a wide variety of strikes both in EURO and ANSI versions, from cost effective solutions in mortice and rim configurations through to medium and high security strikes.

All CDVI EURO strikes come with a 5 year warranty and feature built-in MOV’s (metal oxide varistors) to ensure reliable performance with access control systems, such as our ATRIUM system. We have solutions to cover many kinds of application including timber doors, aluminium doors, UPVC doors, steel doors, fire rated doors and pedestrian gates.

Radial jaws incorporate a latch that spins on a displaced axis toward the bottom of the electric release allowing it to reduce its movement area. The installation is easier and more aesthetically pleasing thanks to a smaller cutout in the frame.

Adjustable jaws consist of a latch divided in two parts, the second part allows for adjustment of the door latch making its installation easier.

Monitored versions have a built-in microswitch with NO/NC contacts, providing status on whether the door is opened or closed.

The MOV (metal oxide varistor) fitted inside all CDVI strikes protects your system from electric spikes that can cause damage to electronic control devices.

Built-in Varistor

This option allows for DC versions of fail secure strikes to be powered for extended periods of time without degrading the coil, thereby improving the lifetime and durability of the strike.

The G series of electric strikes by CDVI have long been accepted as the industry standard for audio video entry systems to residential flats and small businesses. Offering both a mortice plate and rim housing, with either a fixed or adjustable jaw, they are a must have product for any installation engineer. The G series is one of our bestselling models, coupled with a 5 year warranty.

The S series builds upon the success of our original G series by featuring a stainless design for added strength, a symmetrical body for easier installation and reduced dimensions. Being one of the narrowest and smallest bodied strikes on the market this unit is suitable for UPVC doors and multipoint locking. The S series is supplied in multiple configurations and features a radial jaw with a multitude of fixing plate options.

EURO STRIKES

The WR-T2GE12 is a newly available CDVI product. It was designed for special installations where waterproof and dustproof features are required, such as outside installations and sterile environments. It features a protected gasket seal and has a holding force over 400kg measured at the jaw. The WR-T2GE12 also features a manual hold-open function and built-in MOV, offering a unique product for external pedestrian gates.

The GPCF series from CDVI offer a high quality fail secure locking. Its main feature is its resistance to fire under EN 1634-1 (120min). The GPCF is a high performance and versatile lock to suit many requirements. Including high security, due to it’s one metric ton of holding force measured at the jaw, half a million duty cycles and superior fire resilience.

New to the range of strikes offered by CDVI is the GISIP. Designed to be used in high traffic and high security environments it features all stainless steel internals and advanced features. The GISIP is the answer for fitment on escape doors with up-to 450kg preload operation, monitoring and an adjustable jaw. Not only does this strike provide high performance for escape doors, it is also strong, providing 750kg holding force as well as being ultra-durable passing 500,000 duty cycles.

New to CDVI is the PR range of strikes featuring the latest technology to enable a super compact strike, our smallest yet, but still able to deliver 330kg holding force at the jaw and 400,000 operations. Exclusive to this range of strikes, the PR series features a radial jaw and a special cover plate, allowing the strike to be cut into the frame without a side profile for a perfect installation every time.

The ARU series of ANSI strikes offer fail-secure or fail-safe in one unit. Suitable for wooden or metal doors, these strikes are robust with a stainless steel jaw for added strength. The design and high resistance to vandalism make it suitable to secure residential as well as industrial sites. With monitoring as standard and supplied complete with long and short faceplates plus a full fixing kit for metal doors, the ARU series is truly a universal strike.
