Electric detonators are used for blasting on surface work and in underground coal mines, on dry and wet grounds. They are not to be used in air-methane and explosive coal dust environment. The accuracy of delay times eliminates any overlap and contributes significantly to better breakage of materials and decrease in vibration during mining.They have the initiating strength corresponding to the standard detonator No. 8.Mining and electric characteristics are in accordance with the existing Serbian standards.

They are used for minings during for seismic measurements. The short work off period and it's very small blasting provides accuracy in initiating the seismic movement for the purpose of testing the structure of the ground.Work off time < 1 ms ( electric initiation of 3A for a single detonation, 4 A for 5 piece series detonation and 4.5 A for more than 5 piece series)Hermetic 0.5 Mpa/48 hOther characteristics are the same as the TYPE A detonator

Each detonator shell has the number of delays impressed on it's bottom.The conductor is of appropriate colors and appropriately marked (the sort and the type of detonator, No. of delays).Standard detonator packing (with 2m conductor) in the boxes of 500 pieces each, containing all information and marking required.

The detonators must be kept in approved warehouses, where the temperature doesn't surpass - 5 to 35° C range, and the humidity is less than 80%. The warehouses must be dry, clean, aired, fire - resistant and accessible only to authorized personnel.

Warranty period of correct function of electrical detonators is 12 months from the delivery day under condition that the detonators are stored legally and used in accordance with the regulations.
