2. What is the most important reason to remain in the PNW? Economic factor: Employment prospects remain high in the area due to economic growth between

Seattle and Olympia.

3. What are other reasons SM's choose to stay in the PNW? The quality of life in the PNW is the secondary reason for

SM's to remain. Cultural and recreational activities are abundantin the area and provide an atmosphere conducive with raising a family and pursuing activities beyond work.

4. What is your immediate plan after transition? Approximately 80% of SM's plan to enter the workforce.

Approximately 20% plan to pursue a degree or technical training.
