Keynote speakers

Dr. Louis WOLFORD Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative

Louis Wolford received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. In 2011 he joined the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative as a software engineer as part of their technology team and immediately helped with the development of the Learning Registry.

He has contributed to the creation of the Experience API (xAPI) specification, and has helped develop and maintain software related to it, such as the ADL Learning Record Store (LRS) and a few different xAPI-enabled software libraries.

Louis has also worked on projects aimed at supporting both the xAPI and SCORM specifications like the SCORM to TLA Roadmap, the xAPI SCORM Profile, the SCORM-to-xAPI-Wrapper and an updated SCORM Sample Run-Time Environment that is xAPI-enabled.

His experience with these learning technologies allows him to create prototypes to integrate into learning environments and explore new features such as competencies and badging.

Dr. Phil ICE
