VANDEX CEMELAST is a cementitious,two-component, polymer-modified – andefflorescence-free surface waterprooferwith hydrophobic properties. It isresistant to water and moisture, andmade by mixing VANDEX BB 75 (drycomponent) with VANDEX CEMELASTLIQUID.VANDEX CEMELAST is applied tosurfaces such as concrete, masonry andrender, which need to be sealed andprotected against the ingress of waterand moisture. Because of its elasticproperties it is used in zones posingcracking or deforming problems.
VANDEX CEMELAST has been tested foruse in drinking water reservoirs.Due to its composition of cement, quartzwith well graded aggregate, andspecial chemical ingredients, as well asthe admixture of the polymer component,a waterproof and elastic coating isachieved (tested up to 1.5 bar).VANDEX CEMELAST is suitable for areasof potential cracking. final bonding ability of VANDEX CEME-LAST is excellent, making it suitable to be applied on horizontal as well as vertical surfaces.

1 Place the VANDEXCONSTRUCTION JOINT TAPE ontothe first coat of VANDEX BB 75 E or
VANDEX CEMELAST (3 kg/m2,1.5mm). Then, embed both fabric
edges of the tape in the mix.
3 VANDEX CEMELAST applied intwo coats by spray application.
2 Overcoat VANDEXCONSTRUCTION JOINT TAPE witha second coat of VANDEX BB 75 Eor VANDEX CEMELAST (3 kg/m2,1.5mm).
4 VANDEX CEMELAST trowelapplication in two coats.
