    El Shaddai Primary School

    1. ChildrenWe were swamped with families that needed their children to come to the school unfortunately the

previous head teacher did not focus on the needy children and we ended up taking in much more

children than we planned for. The grade 1 class had to many children and it was a challenge for

Mrs Mhlanga to control them. Hopefully with the government making a commitment to start with

free education in 2010 the excess grade 1 and 2 children from other areas, that could not afford

school fees, could return and go to school closer to their homes. Some of these little ones walked to

school 2hrs in the morning and 2 returning home in the afternoons.

We are excited as this is the first year we have a grade 7 class and they are currently writing thegovernment exams. Our prayers are with these children as so many that need to go to high school

do not have the funds to go.

    2. TeachersThis has proved to be a difficult year all around. As the year started we ran into major problems

with our head teacher and government teachers. Due to moral and discipline issues we had to let

them leave the school. As time moved on we were hopeful with the replacements but once again

    ran into similar problems.

Margie and I had been praying for a head teacher and finally TSC called for us to interview new

candidates. God proved to be faithful and our current head teacher Lenny was an answer to prayer.

She is wonderful with the children and they love her very much. Themba Matsebula and Mr Maseko

are also government teachers and they are doing a great job.

The temporal teachers are a blessing as always, Mrs Shiba, Mrs Mhlanga, Jo-anna and Monday. It is

our prayer to pay them a better wage, please keep this in your prayers. El Shaddai Ministry is helping

Monday to study and get his teaching diploma, when he has studied for a year the government will

pay him a wage of E3000. His current wage is E1000 and the other temporal teachers get less. A big

thank you to CLF that has committed to help provide the funds we so much need to pay these

teachers and buy food to feed the children.

    3. UniformsBlessings, blessings ,blessings. As the uniforms started to look very worn out Anne made a plan and

surprised us. Janine also blessed the little ones with uniforms from their school. Virginia and Dennis

also helped with the track pants. The Taiwanese students, they blessed the children with shoes and

stationery. The All4Jesus team gave a back-pack filled with food to each child in the school. God is so

    good

The way to find Gods treasure-house of blessing is to climb the ladder of his divine promises. Those

promises are a key that opens the door to the riches of Gods grace and favour.

Thank you to all the people that donated the uniforms without your loving gifts, El Shaddai ministry

would not have been able to bless the children. They jumped with joy when they received their gifts

and sang praises to the Lord.

Philippians . 3:8 I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing

greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

    4. School BuildingsA big thank you to CLF, they provided the funds for the final classroom and media room. These

buildings finalised the primary school building project. Praise God as the media room would also

provide the school with much needed computer studies and a library to do research. Rural schools in

Swaziland do not have these facilities so once again we raise our hands to praise God. Ron Purias

has committed to sending us the much needed computers for the school. As they got back from

their trip to El Shaddai a teacher from one of the schools told him that they are willing to donate the

schools computers to the mission, wow what a blessing. He is getting a container together to ship

them over as soon as they have the funds

The head teachers home and the second home currently in construction was funded by CLF. The

remaining teachers home funded by CLF would be built early in 2010.

    5. FoodThe children were blessed with a healthy meal each day. CLF funded the food and the government

also provided supplies to make this possible.

    Pre-school

As we had no funding for the pre-school programme we considered to close it. The parents begged

us to keep it open as all the other pre-schools where really expensive. We closed our eyes and

continued in faith. Stacey blessed us and provided the 300 dollars needed for the daily food and we

juggled to get the funds to pay the teachers. Supplies also came from trip blessings. Thank you once

again for all who have given and blessed the children at the pre-school.

Many people want the glory without the cross, and the shining light without the burning fire, but

crucifixion comes before coronation. Light is always costly and comes at the expense of that which

produces it. An unlit candle does not shine, for burning must come before light. And we can be of

little use to others without a cost to ourselves. May all who gave up their safe environment tocome and share your time with the little ones be blessed in Christ Jesus.

Pray for 2010 and that God would provide in His time for these little ones. Sometimes closing down

would seem to be the right route to go. We have come to see that these precious angels also need

to be prepared for their long road toward an education to change their situation and give them hope

    for the future.

    Baby House

    1. StaffThe staff have been wonderful but have also gone through their share of problems this year. Irene

lost many of her family members this year and the most difficult was her son that committed

suicide. The government omitted his result in the paper and he thought he failed and then hung

himself. Elsie is always at work and a great blessing it surprises me how she is always smiling. As

single mother she never complains and would crochet evenings to make more money to help her

children. Bongiwe has not been well please keep her in your prayers. Margie has been a greatsupport in many ways. She was attacked by the dogs and it is a miracle that she is with us today. She

had a great time in the USA and took Danny with to visit.

    2. ChildrenThe little ones are doing great and Angelique has become a real missy. It is such a blessing to see

how much they have grown and changed in this year. Xolile and Lungisi also joined the home this

year and Gift upgraded into the girls dorm.

    3. BuildingWe finally got the contractors to plaster the outside of the baby house and we have the

students from South Africa coming in December to paint the outside. Margie also raised the

funds to put in their own playground. CLF provided the funds to fence around and this madeit possible for the little ones to venture out safely and play on their newly built playground.

    El Shaddai Kitchen

The HFA trip made a beautiful cafe mural in the kitchen. This made going in there so much

fun, just feels like you are sitting on the side of the road in Europe. Thank you for taking the

time and making this possible.Thandi that worked in the kitchen went home to take care of

her daughter that is very ill. Zodwa took over her responsibilities in the kitchen and is doing

a great job. The contractors also plastered the outside now we need to raise awareness so

that we could paint the outside dorm and kitchen. Boy oh boy must say things are starting

    to look great.

    The church

As usual the church has been used for multiple departments. During the week it is used as

the pre-school and crafts. We also use the church for local meetings and school meetings. A

great need is new benches in the church. A special thank you for the most beautiful mural in

a church in all the world. As the picture took form I knew that God was guiding the painters

hand, praise Jesus for the most beautiful talent He gave our benefactor.

    1. PigsPraise God that made it possible for us to buy good stock for the piggery, we started with

five and it had grown to 48. The next extension is to build our own cold room so that we

can slaughter and sell direct to the public. Our first group is ready to be slaughtered by thetime we return home from our holiday. The pigs have proved to be a great investment they

help provide meat for the children.

    2. ChickensOnce the extreme rain subsides we will also be focussing on the chickens once again. There

has been great storms is Swaziland and the chicks die when they are wet and cold. The

children love helping take care of the animals.

    3. CowsWe are only milking one cow as we had to sell the other cows. Due to the feed prices rising

it became very expensive to continue with the dairy. There are three cows left and hopefully

we will be able to build up the dairy once the feed prices go down. It is great that we are

able to milk the remaining cows without feeding and have enough milk for the mission

    4. Plowing for the mission and gogosSo many families have been touched by the rise in prices of goods and food. Once again we

trusted God for a miracle and CLF partnering with All4Jesus made it possible to plow for thegrandmothers, widows and single mothers this year. We plowed a large field at El Shaddai.

    Tractor

First of all we had real problems as the tractor was not doing great. CLF and All4Jesus came

up with the funds to repair the old girl. Needless to say I think this was her final season.

Although the engine was repaired it was oozing oil and it does not make sense to spendsuch an exuberant amount of money to open up the engine again. Praise God that we were

able to help all the families. We have not been able to grind the maize for the local families

because we need the PTO on the tractor to run the grinding machine or come up with an

    electric motor to do this.

    5. Moringa Tree Project

Moringa or miracle tree not sure but time will tell, we were able to plant 1000 trees during

the All4Jesus visit in October. Our prayers are that we would be able to harvest the leaves

and dry them to pound it into a powder which the local families could add to their stews

that they eat with the maize meal their staple food. This powder would provide much

needed vitamin and minerals supplements. This donation came in a time of great need,

    thank you.

    Beanie Project

This project has blessed so many families we have seen more than 40 families lives changed

this year due to a regular income from the beanies. To say the least we have gone through

major trials to continue. First of all finding a clearing agent proved difficult until Fedexagreed to help on our first consignment. Then getting the AGOA papers sorted seemed

nearly impossible. Caroline came down and did the rounds with me until we got all the

    paperwork done.

Eventually the yarn became difficult to locate as the post-office went on stick for weeks and

to follow the road transport people. As we breathed a sigh of relief the textile people went

on strike and to this day we have not been able to get the yarn we need. The cherry on the

cake is the suppliers discontinuing colors without prior notice. Although we face all these

problems we are taking a stand and know God initiated this and He will continue what He

    started.

We are helping them with the making of paper beads and other jewels please pray for a

    miracle in this area.

    1. THE CHILDRENS FIRST TWO HOMES

    2. ALL4JESUS TEAM PAINTING THE KITCHEN

Praise the Lord for Cindy and Jared they sold their home and started a non profit called All4Jesus.

Their selfless gift has made it possible for the high school children to live 5min from school. Kallie

and I knew we had to expand but everything seemed to work against us and we prayed about this

and decided that if this was from the Lord He would provide all the funding. He did and we are

blessed that the children have moved into their new home. The grade 7 children would be moving

down next year. In the one house will be boys, Zweli, Bhegani, Nkosingphile, Promise, Lucky,

Ayanda, Pumlani, Mancoba and Quawe. Michael and Bongani are going to trade school and they will

    come home holidays.

The girls house has Mbali, Nomphumelelo, Busisiwe, Zinhle, Petsile and two girls from the chiefs

home that are orphans. We could take in more girls if needed. Praise be to God in the highest.

Finding, following, keeping struggling. Is He sure to bless?

    VOLUNTEERS

    JERE AND JANET SCOTT

Jere and Janet came and helped once again this year. Jere did so much plumbing I am sure he would

have an allergy reaction going to the bathroom. Needless to say on their arrival we had the green

truck combi and Pajero in the workshop. Jere paid for a new engine for the Isuzu. Jere also provided

the Managers of Komati project with a generator. Janet helped once again getting the storerooms

sorted and everything is looking great. She blessed the school with her wisdom and gave guidance

    to the teachers.

Give what you have, for you never know to someone else it may be better than you can ever dare

    to think.

    JAN BUCKNER

Jan has being coming to help in various areas at the mission. She has been a great blessing to the

little ones and the smaller girls. May God bless her coming and going..

They will soar on wings like eagles.

    STUDENTS FROM SOUTH AFRICA

We have been blessed with so many teams in the last few years, as it is hard to see our children

grow even these children of ours have grown and completed their studies. Their season here has

ended but we have new students helping and what a blessing. Congratulations to Juanita and

Wynand that got married, to Raymond and Christine that are getting married in January and Johan

our vet that got married. God be with you and guide you in your new life together.

    KRISTEN MCGRAW

Dear sweet Kristen came and helped with anything and everything. We are sad that she left but

ultimately you have to listen to the voice of God not man. Doesnt the Word of God come to us like

a soft rain shower, dispelling the fury of the flames? Isnt it like fireproof armour, against which the

heat is powerless. Whatever occurs in the valley of tears I know He has chosen me.

    PERMANENT STAFF

    MARGIE BREWER

Dear Margie has been a great blessing and has gone through great trials herself this year. First of all

she was attacked by dogs and then had her credit card details stolen. Praise God for CLF that

covered her medical bill and All4Jesus that helped. She had a great visit with her family and we a

grateful that she has returned to continue her work with us here.

Pains furnace heat within me quivers.

Gods breath upon the flame does blow.

And all my heart in anguish shivers.

And trembles at the fiery glow.

And yet I whisper as God will.

And in the hottest fire hold still.

    FRANK AND JANE

They where brave enough to leave their beautiful island home and move to help take care of the

extended project at Komati. We are blessed to have them and thank God for sending them in a time

of great need. Our prayer is that they too will experience the provision and love God has for Hischildren in the field

    MINA PURIAS

She has ventured into the mission field what a brave lady. Mina is currently helping take care of the

children in the SA home. She had to face a not so friendly landlady but she stood her ground.

Hopefully she would be helping in various other sections of the ministry soon.

    MARK HACKETT

Mark came to help Kallie with construction and various other things. Mark has been rather busy

since we have been building non stop. He is returning home on the 11th

and not sure if he could

come back due to financial difficulty.

NO PRAYER IS EVER LOST, OR ANY PRAYER BREATHED IN VAIN. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PRAYER

UNANSWERED OR UNNOTICED BY GOD AND SOME THINGS WE SEE AS REFUSALS OR DENIALS ARE

    SIMPLY DELAYS.

    1. JUNGLE GYMTom and Linda became a part of our work when we were struggling and decided to partner

with us. Wow we had been praying about a jungle gym and felt guilty as there was so much

need all over but when it was built I knew this was from God. Thank you once again to all

    that made this dream real.

    2. YEAH MEDIA ROOM BUILTThe school has its media room and final classes thanks once again to the loving support of CLF and

their supporters. You can also log onto their websitewww.james127.orgto see their extended

    ministry in Swaziland.

    3. CLINICThe clinic, a lifesaver in the midst of poverty, what a wonderful gift. Gods love is bigger than we

could ever know or understand. What a blessing to know we are able to help people that would not

be able to go to hospital. Thank you, thank you, thank you. An anonymous donor blessed us through

    CLF.

    4. BABY HOUSE FENCINGThey also put a fence around the baby house to make it safer for the little ones to play outside.

Margie also raised funds so that they could have their own mini jungle gym. Thank you for all the

time and effort spent to make this dream possible.

    5. FURNITURE FOR GUEST HOUSEThe old childrens home needs to be revamped asap. We are using this home for volunteers. CLF in

support with All4Jesus gave us funds to get beds for the new guest facilities. These facilities where

built by our loving Canadian friends.

    ALL4JESUS

They came and gave themselves to serve the people of this area and praise the Lord for their loving

commitment. They also painted the kitchen at phase two Komati Project and helped with other

tasks, planting the Moringa trees, packing the medicine in the clinic and setting up the clinic. They

blessed all the children at school with back packs filled with food and goodies.

CHRIST SOMETIMES DELAYS HIS HELP SO THAT OUR FAITH MAY GROW AND ENERGISE OUR

PRAYERS. OUR BOAT MAY BE TOSSED BY THE WAVES WHILE HE CONTINUES TO SLEEP, BUT

HE WILL AWAKE BEFORE IT SINKS. HE IS NEVER TOO LATE.

    RON PURIAS

The group from Canada came and blessed us and built the volunteer dorm, they worked real hard

and we were blessed to have them be with us. We are looking forward to their next visit. The

All4Jesus group was the first team to stay in the new places. The contractors finished the building

and Mark helped with the plumbing

    HEART FOR AFRICA

They have always been a great blessing and God made in possible for a few groups to visit us this

year. To see what wonderful work they are doing in Africa please go to their website. The children

were part of the Litsemba in the hotel and had great fun. The groups spent time in the rural area

with very poor families and also did a lot of painting. The ministry was blessed with a medical team

that saw tons of people and some even painted beautiful murals. May God bless their work and

    continue to expand their territory.

    JOHN HEIRS AND TEAM

Their team came to scout out possible work that future groups could come and do. The group also

helped with the childrens school work and did some painting. Thank you for visiting it is always a

    blessing to make new friends.

    CAROLINE, SANDY AND THE GANG

The ladies and the youngsters came and helped with anything and everything. Most of all they

helped with the painting of the clinic. The rounded off the outside and inside and the only thing left

was the sorting of meds. Now we can have the official opening of the clinic in January 2010. Caroline

helped with a ton of the AGOA problems we were experiencing with the government.

Whatever the Lord may ask of us or however slow He may seem to work, we can be absolutely sure

he is never a confused or fearful Savior.

    COERTZEN FAMILY

    KALLIE ON SABATICAL IN MARGATE

Our family has gone through a time of testing greater than ever before. There is so much to praise

God for that all the problems we experienced seem so insignificant right now.

Kallie: First of all Kallie had to get treatment for traumatic stress disorder. The dr. was surprised that

he was not diagnosed before. Kallie has to have his cancer checked and will be seeing the urologist

    fish.

Charmain: It has been so busy and I knew that my body was warning me something is wrong. First of

all they diagnosed fibromyalgia and then found a growth the size of a tennis ball in my uterus. The

end result was a full hysterectomy and cancer growing. Still waiting for the final results but dr. is

hopeful that he got it all out. Follow-up due on the 10th

    .

Carl: Wow it is hard to believe my baby is finished with primary school and will be venturing into the

high school scary for moms. He did well with his studies and a special thank you to Tom and Linda

that have sponsored him this year.

Naomi: Missy is going to school next year and she is looking forward to it.

David: He is growing and loves playing on the new jungle gym. Often he just pops into the baby

house to visit his buddy Danny.

    MESSAGE

The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth , to strengthen those whose hearts are fully

    committed to Him.

God is looking for men and women whose hearts are firmly fixed on Him and who will continually

trust Him for all he desires to do with their lives. God is ready and eager to work more powerfully
