• PRACTICE: Regular present tense and introductions.

• NEEDED:Dice and pawns.• INSTRUCTIONS: Roll the dice, go to the

appropriate square and give the correct answer. Just be careful! There are a few penalty spaces which will force you to move backwards or lose one turn!

• PRACTICE: Regular and irregular present tense.• NEEDED: One card per student with one of the

sentences printed off. • INSTRUCTIONS: Depending on the card the

student gets, he must lie/tell the truth using the present tense: E.g. “My father is a famous singer in Spain” ,“I have a tatoo”, “I speak 10 languages”. The rest of students must guess if he is telling the truth/lying.

one who succeeds in placing three respective marks in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row wins the game. In order to place the mark, the team must give the correct form of the verb in the square.

• NEEDED: Paper and pen. • INSTRUCTIONS: Students must fill in the blanks

with either stereotypes in present tense or countries. After this, the students may write down stereotypes that exist about their home country and discuss about whether they are true or not.
