El Dorado Inc., with financial assistance from the City of El Dorado, is now offering a pilot relocation incentive program for new residents moving within the city limits of El Dorado. The purpose of the program is to encourage workers moving to the area to live within the city where they work.

Natural Pet Care Center offers a different approach An additional 1400 square feet in the complex will house the offices of Dr. Rodney Clements, who will provide chiropractic and acupuncture services for animals referred by the Natural Pet Care Center. “Chiropractics can be very effective for treating animals. For example, I’ve seen it work wonders for dachshunds who suffer from chronic back pain,” said Dr. Wittenberg. Dr. Wittenberg takes some-what of a holistic approach in treating her animal patients.

Soon the animal population of the El Dorado area will be served by a new facility and through a slightly different approach. The Natural Pet Care Center, owned and operated by Dr. Beth Wittenburg, DVM, is a 4,000 square foot facility which will serve dogs, cats, horses and exotics. The center features two indoor horse exam areas, an avian exam room, and regular exam and surgery areas.

The Natural Pet Care Center will open in September.

This method incorporates looking at all aspects of an animal, and being open to a variety of treatments, as well as modern veterinary methods. She offers nutrition counseling which may include supple-ments, and the center will have holistic foods available for sale. Dr. Wittenberg earned her degree in veterinary medicine from Kansas State University, and has been in practice for 14 years. The new clinic is scheduled to open in September.

second. Her time for the 3200 was 11:13.17, and for the 1600, 5:03.92, just three second shy of breaking the state record. Milbourn now claims five state long distance running titles in her high school career. Teamwork and a final push at the finish line resulted in a state championship trophy for El Dorado in the Class 4A boys 4 x 800 relay race. Team members Dale Nuckolls, Casey Nightengale, Tim Jiles and Spencer Jensen ran hard on every leg to be in a position for

El Dorado High School State Track Champions shine the last runner, Casey Nighten-gale to pass the second place runner just before the finish line to give the Wildcats the title in the time of 8:06.64. Jaime House prevailed in a sudden death overtime duel to claim her third state Class 4A girls pole vault title with a jump of 12 feet, one inch. This jump broke her previous record by an inch. Overall the EHS girls track team finished in fourth place at the state meet.

The El Dorado High School track team certainly has their share of 2010 State Champions. At the Kansas State High School Activities Association state track meet on May 28th and 29th at Cessna Stadium, the athletes performed beauti-fully and brought home four Championship trophies. Junior Molly Milbourn won the Class 4A girls 3200 and 1600-meter competitions, narrowly missing the 800-meter title by only four hundredths of a
