Sports Fields in our Own Back Yard!
Having these sports facilities available in the center of our community will be a great asset to our aspiring Olympians. No more travel to other communities to practice our sport of choice.
This will give our young athletes what they need to achieve greatness. Our seniors will also be able to take advantage of their favorite team sports right in our backyard. This is what our community has been waiting for!

Swim Meet ScenarioThe old Executive Golf Course site, known
as “EDH Central Park”, is now a world class recreational facility.
The Olympic sized pool and training facility, now located at the EDH Central Park, is holding a swim meet hosting many northern California communities. This is a three day event and over 400 people are expected to attend. While here, participants will visit local restaurants and shops in Town Center and Raley’s shopping center and stay in available hotel space in El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park and Placerville.
There will be plenty of parking in the onsite two acre tree lined parking facility. Access to the facility will be off Highway 50 at the Silva Valley Interchange. From there, take the new frontage road which will take you directly to the facility while not interfering with the normal flow of traffic on El Dorado Hills Boulevard.
Many visitors have planned ahead and will arrive a few days early or leave a few days after the event and visit local wineries, gold rush towns and Old Town Placerville to name a few. During the day, off hours can be spent walking the beautiful trails in EDH Central Park or relax with a slow game of Bocce Ball.
