! Born on June 7, 1975! Daughter of film star Jitendra, and

Shobha Kapoor ! She had no interest in the

entertainment business during her childhood.

! Did schooling from Bombay Scottish School

! Graduating from Mithibai College in commerce

! She was just quite ordinary at school

! Initially she started hanging around ad and film makers but to no avail.

! She then started making pilot TV serials. She made six pilots and three episodes for each pilot. Finally she got her big break when she made a Hindi TV serial i.e. Hum Paanch.
