MYER EMPORIUM EDM PROCESS

- Receive content plan/brief from Myer - Myer then determine if the EDM will be shot and styled or imagery supplied- Conceptualise how the EDM will flow and draw up a layout for the designer – you can also

find layout examples from other EDMs you come across.- Create a folder on the server in EMPORIUM EDM with the week as the folder title (e.g WEEK

1 – 28th July). Inside this folder, file the captions and copy, images and layout example or drawing in a word document and save images and campaign images and the brand logo (if needed) in here too.

- Email designer to inform everything is ready and set a deadline for them to have the first draft back to you.

- Send the first version as a PDF to Malisha Rama and CC in Catriona Jordan and the Emporium Editor.

- Malisha will send back Myer’s changes- Send these changes on to the designer- Send updated EDM as a PDF to Malisha (this process may repeat a few times)- Malisha will then approve the EDM. Send the PSD version of the EDM along with PSD and

PDF versions of the ‘banners’ that the designer will also create for online.- Send subject headlines for the EDM to Malisha and CC in Catriona and the Editor.

WEEK 7 EDM – Sunglass Hut

Sunglass Hut are confirming where they want the extra “SHOP NOW” dinkus.

Please send to Wayne to fix up then send on to Malisha, Jayne Robertson, Lynn Mennah and Marg. Once it is approved, ask Wayne to send you a PSD and PDF of the document and send on to Malisha.

WEEK 8 EDM – Sunglass Hut/L’Oreal

Waiting on Malisha to approve.

If any changes come through – send these to Wayne who will sort out then send onto malisha. Once it is finally approved, ask wayne to convert to a PSD and PDF and send these on to Malisha.

WEEK 9 – MISS SHOP cosmetics.

I have asked Malisha to send me high res of products but she hasn’t done this as of yet.

I have attached her ‘brief’.

WEEK 10 – ACCESSORIES

Ask malisha to send you the high tail link of Benah bags for you to choose from to shoot.

As far as planning goes, this is the most I have heard from Myer and they only advised what week 9 and 10 were on Thursday the 4th of September.
