Childcare available from 6:30-7:30).Chris Carstens, Director of the Diocesan Of! ce for Sacred Worship will present the ! rst two ses-sions. If the Mass has become routine for you – or even boring or tedious – these re# ections are for you. Do you want to delve deeper into the Mass and relate its meaning to your everyday life? Would you like to make the Mass a life-changing experience? Want to know how to foster authentic participation in yourself, chil-dren, grandchildren? Find out how the celebra-tion of Mass can be a fountain of peace for you and a profound refreshment for your soul.In the ! nal presentation Chris Ruff, Director of the Of! ce for Ministries and Social Concerns for our Diocese will present The Hidden Power of Facetime with Jesus - Eucharistic Adoration. Folks are in such need of spending face time with Jesus at any time of the day, bringing Him their challenges, toils and struggles. If we would only talk to Him – as we would a friend. Eu-charistic Adoration has exploded in our coun-try, especially among young people! One pastor called the adoration chapel “the engine room of the Church.” Come and learn how it can you’re your own power house!

upon our own sinfulness and the desire to change for the better.

Please participate in the prayers we offered throughout the season. Observe the three Lent-en disciplines of prayer, fasting, and giving to the poor. Practice the regulations for Catholics fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, and abstaining from eating meat on those days and all Fridays in Lent. All too often we do things individually. These practices we do as the Body of Christ in this to support one another to over-come sin and live a holier life.

Thank you and God bless you.

Msgr. Stoetzel

The intercession this week is to pray for a Holy Lent for the Church and all Christians.

ASH WEDNESDAY - MARCH 6The Mass schedule for Ash Wednesday will be posted as well as Stations of the Cross, Benedic-tion, and the Lenten Soup Suppers. Please read the regulations for all Catholics regarding fast and abstinence. The black books will be avail-able next weekend at the entrances to the Ca-thedral. Please take one home per household.

Dear parishioners and visitors,

The Season of Lent will begin this week on Wednesday, March. For forty days, all Catholics and Christians re# ect upon our lives and how sinful we can be. The Lord calls out to us for con-version of heart so that sel! shness will be replaced with self-lessness. For several weeks, the weekday readings were taken from Genesis 1 – 11. We heard how Adam and Eve had sinned against God. Then we heard of the sins against family, and last nation against nation. So we are given these days to re# ect

MILK MOOLA PROGRAM ENDS SOONKwik Trip is ending its Milk Moola program. Therefore, Aquinas Catholic Schools is calling in all milk caps, bag tops, and donut circles. They must be turned in no later than March 8th to a participating school so we have time to count and submit for payment to Kwik Trip by March 31st. Thank you for your help in the suc-cessful wrap-up of this program.

SCRIP NEWSAs mentioned elsewhere in the bulletin, alms-giving to the poor is one of the three disciplines we are asked to observe during Lent. Many of us think nothing of stopping at Kwik Trip or other convenience stores for a coffee and sweet roll on our way to work; or a bag of chips or a candy bar, washed down with a fountain drink on the commute home.

Consider changing that daily picture by an act of self-morti! cation and putting that money to-wards purchasing non-perishble food items for a local food pantry. If you are already a Scrip user, why not add a few extra food items to your gro-cery cart to be donated to WAFER or pantry of your choice. Who knows, your smiling check-out cashier or grocery bagger may be struggling to make ends meet at home and goes to a food pantry to supplement the food they put on the table for themselves and/or for their family.

Never been a Scrip user before? No problem, it is easy and our Scrip volunteers are always eager and willing to help answer any questions you may have about the program. In addition, by purchasing Scrip, you are actively doing an act of charity by offering your Scrip tuition credits to a family who may be struggling to keep their kids in the Aquinas Catholic Schools system. Scrip costs you nothing other than the face value of the card.

We also have $10 Great Harvest Scrip cards ideal to purchase breads for our Lenten Friday soup suppers.

GENESIS TO JESUSUnderstand and engage with Sacred Scripture like never before during this Lenten Season. Watch Genesis to Jesus for free this Lent. Scott Hahn and Matthew Leonard of the St. Paul Center will make the big picture of the Bible become exceptionally clear and vibrantly alive for you.
