EIEIO vs. SSWATEIEIO vs. SSWAT NWOCA has conducted a couple of

EIEIO/SSWAT training sessions so far Also introduced SSWAT during

USASWEB training sessions For EIEIO/SSWAT training, we discuss

EIEIO options but we don’t focus too much on OINQ. Instead we feature SSWAT as a “replacement” for OINQ.

Advantages:• Can look up information immediately after it was posted• OINQ options contained in one area for easy selection

Disadvantages:• Does not display all background information (such as date entered,

username, etc).• Can’t look up “portions” of account/transaction information (by

description or part of description)• Does not allow you to re-sort displayed information• Must rebuild OINQ file to see info in OINQ• Can’t view history information• OINQ can be hard to see and read• PF3 options are not user-friendly

How does SSWAT work?How does SSWAT work? SSWAT’s database is a copy of the

district’s USAS data.• Completely separate from the live data

The data in SSWAT is refreshed nightly.• Contains all transactions except those posted

on the current date.
