Land applications requiring positioning accuracy better than present GPS can benefit from EGNOS
The integrity data provided by EGNOS is particularly suited for applications driven by reliability and stringent safety constraints

EGNOS extension in Euromed region: a “natural” priority for EU
The neighbouring Euromed region represents for EGNOS service extension a priority
European Commission has undertaken various initiatives aimed at implementing and/or evaluating the feasibility and opportunities of EGNOS extension in the Euromed area

MEDiterranean follow‐Up for EGNOS AdoptionGoal: Following the recommendations and plans elaborated in METIS, implementation of priority actions outlined in METIS to:
