KAPPA LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE - CHICAGO
The mission of Kappa Leadership Institute - Chicago, “Kappa League - Chicago”, is to provide educational college readiness opportunities for economically disadvantaged and/or underrepresented minority males, primarily, African American high school youth. Our program integrates mentorship, service initiatives and leadership principles to foster academic success, personal development, global understanding and interracial harmony. Our Kappa League program is one of the highest performing and most experienced African-American college readiness and mentoring programs for young men in Chicago. We have successfully partnered with some of the country’s premier colleges and universities, because our students are recognized as having the skills and abilities to succeed at these demanding educational institutions. In the last eight years alone, Kappa League - Chicago has successfully helped transform the lives of over 900 young black males. Our 100% college acceptance rate, for our graduating seniors, creates a path for each of our students to become self-reliant and productive citizens. By providing our young men with the skills to set goals and exposing them to a culture of success, they are trained to model positive behaviors and positioned for rewarding futures beyond college. We believe that this will benefit all of society. Please support our outstanding Kappa League program by making a tax deductible donation. Feel free to contact us with any questions, comments or suggestions.
