EFY SHOW - Post Show Report

IPC India - a wholly owned subsidiary of IPC - USA conducted the Hand SolderingCompetition (HSC), in association with Electronics For You (EFY) Group during the India Electronics Week Expo at the KTPO Trade Center, Whitefield Industrial Area, Bengaluru during February 26 to 28, 2019.

It was a great success with as many as 36 company representatives participating in thecompetition and the overall event had a turnover of visitors numbering around 5000 to 6000.

The Hand Soldering Competition was sponsored by M/s. Hakko Corporation andM/s. Sumitron Exports Private Limited.

The HSC was inaugurated by Mr. Ramesh Chopra, Managing Director & Ms. Poonam Kapoor, Whole-time Director, M/s. EFY Enterprises Private Limited and Mr. N. Chethan, Assistant Manager - Sales Department, M/s. Sumitron Exports Private Limited.

The contestants were judged by Master IPC Trainers as per IPC-A-610G Class 3 criteria and on the following basis:• The speed at which the assembly is produced and• Overall electrical functionality of the assembly.

Thirty six contestants from various segments like Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, EMS and OEM registered and participated in the competition.

Winner:

Mr. Puneeth representing M/s. Kaynes Technology India Private Limited.

Runner Up:

Mr. Karthik S representing M/s. Rangsons Defence Solutions Private Limited.
