Topic Sentences – First Sentence Studies show that eating too much fast food is fattening,

addictive and unhealthy. This is true for several reasons.

First of all, the large amount of sugar in soft drinks causes

cavities, which is especially bad for teenagers. Second,

health experts point out that the calcium builds bone mass

during adolescence and that the best source of calcium is

milk. However, many teenagers are substituting milk with

soda which has no calcium. Moreover, fast foods lack many

nutrients that are important to the body.
