The recruitment shall be guided by H & FW Department Notification No. 21797 dated 01.10.2015.

The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST

OF “RADIOGRAPHER” in block capital letters.

Eligibility Criteria for direct recruitment:- In order to be eligible for direct recruitment, a candidate shall have

to satisfy the following conditions namely:

I. Nationality:-He/she must be a citizen of India.

II. Age Limit :- He/she must have attended the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years on the

date of such advertisement for the post(s). Upper age limit in respect of reserved categories of candidates shall

be relaxed in accordance with the provision of the Acts, rules, orders and instructions for the time being in

force for the respective categories.

Provided further that the candidates engaged on Contractual basis in similar assignment under Health & F.W.

Dept. under the Central Plan Schemes, State Plan Schemes and externally aided Schemes against the post duly

approved by Health & F.W Dept. & concurred by Finance Dept. and below the age of 45 years and have

completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed to take part in the recruitment process as

per the G.A Dept. Notification No.32010/GEN dt.12.11.2013.)

III. Knowledge in Odia:- He/she must (a) be able to read, write and speak Odia and (b) have passed middle

school examination with Odia as language subject; or (c) have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination

with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject; or (d) have passed in Odia as language subject

in the final examination of class-VII from a school or educational institution recognized by Government of

Odisha or the central government; or (e) have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard

conducted by the School of Mass Education Department.

IV. Marital Status :- If married he must not have one spouse living. Provided that the Government may, if

satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person or there are other

specific grounds for being so, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

V. Minimum Educational Qualification :- Enumerated above.

VI. Physical Fitness: - A candidate must be of good physical and mental health and free from any physical

defects likely to make him incapable of discharging his/her normal duties of the service.

VII. A candidate who after such medical examination as the Government may propose not found to satisfy these

requirements as specified in clause VI shall not be approved for the service.

VIII. A candidate must have registered his / her name in the Radiographer Council of the State and have possessed

valid registration certificate as on the date of advertisement.

RESERVATION:

Reservation to SC/ST shall be made in accordance with the provisions for the ORV in posts and services

(for SC & ST) Act 1975 and the Rules made there under. Reservation to SEBC, Ex-Servicemen, Persons

with Disability, Sportsmen and Women shall be made in accordance with the provisions made under

such Act, Rules Order, Resolutions or instructions issued by the Government from time to time.

MODE OF SELECTION:

1. The selection of candidates shall be made on career assessment as detailed below:

Examination Weightage

HSC (Excluding 4th Optional) / Equivalent 20%

+2 Science (Excluding 4th Optional) / Equivalent 30%

Diploma in Radiographers Examination 50%

Provided further that, the candidates engaged on Contractual basis under the Central Plan Schemes, State Plan

Schemes and externally Aided Scheme under Health & F.W. Deptt. against the post duly approved by Health

& F.W. Deptt. and concurred by the Finance Deptt. and below the age of 45 years and have completed at least

one year of continuous service shall be allowed one percent extra mark of the total marks for each completed

year of continuous service subject to maximum of fifteen percent which will be added to the marks secured by

them for deciding their merit position as per the G.A. Deptt. Notification No.32010/GEN dt.12.11.2013.

2. The Provisional Merit List will be based on the marks secured as per the above mentioned weightage from

highest to lowest. In case of a tie the following rules will be followed in the following order:

a. Higher mark in Diploma in Radiographers Examination will secure higher position.

b. Higher mark in Physics in +2 Science will secure higher position.

c. Higher mark in Chemistry in +2 Science will secure higher position.

d. Older in age will secure higher position.

3. The merit list shall be valid for a period of one year or till completion of panel list which-ever is earlier.

4. The seniority will be maintained as per the rank in the merit list.

If any candidate is found to have suppressed any material, information or furnished false

information/documents, his/her case shall not be considered for the post applied for and in case already

engaged on the basis of the said information/documents, his/her service shall be terminated forthwith.

Such candidates are also liable to due legal action including penal action as per prevailing law.

Candidates who have been disengaged previously on administrative ground such as disobedience/poor

performance/misbehavior/criminal activity etc. are not eligible to apply.

3. The selected candidates will have to undertake that they will not claim any financial benefits other than

the monthly remuneration (Pay& G.P) which they will receive; as decided by the Government of Odisha

from time to time.

4. In case of non-availability of Women candidates the vacancy will be filled up by eligible male candidates

of the respective category.

5. Candidates appointed on contractual basis will not claim for inter Medical College/District transfer.

6. The authority reserves the right to cancel this advertisement at any time without assigning any reason

thereof.

7. Any legal dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of Court(s) situated at Balangir, Odisha.

Eligibility Criteria for direct recruitment:- In order to be eligible for direct recruitment, a candidate shall have

to satisfy the following conditions namely:

I. Nationality:-He/she must be a citizen of India.

II. Age Limit :- He/she must have attended the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years on the

date of such advertisement for the post(s). Provided that the upper age limit in respect of reserved categories

shall be relaxed in accordance with the provision of the Acts, rules, orders and instructions for the time being

in force for the respective categories.

Provided further that the candidates engaged on Contractual basis in similar assignment under Health & F.W.

Dept. under the Central Plan Schemes, State Plan Schemes and externally aided Schemes against the post duly

approved by Health & F.W Dept. & concurred by Finance Dept. and below the age of 45 years and have

completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed to take part in the recruitment process as

per the G.A Dept. Notification No.32010/GEN dt.12.11.2013.)

III. Knowledge in Odia:- He/she must (a) be able to read, write and speak Odia and (b) have passed middle

school examination with Odia as language subject; or (c) have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination

with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject; or (d) have passed in Odia as language subject

in the final examination of class-VII from a school or educational institution recognized by Government of

Odisha or the central government; or (e) have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard

conducted by the School of Mass Education Department.

IV. Marital Status:- If married he must not have one spouse living. Provided that the Government may, if

satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person or there are other

specific grounds for being so, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

V. Minimum Educational Qualification:- Enumerated above.

VI. Physical Fitness: - A candidate must be of good physical and mental health and free from any physical

defects likely to make him incapable of discharging his/her normal duties of the service.

VII. A candidate who after such medical examination as the Government may propose not found to satisfy these

requirements as specified in clause VI shall not be approved for the service.

VIII. A candidate must have registered his / her name in the Pharmacist Council in the State and have possessed

valid registration certificate as on the date of advertisement.

RESERVATION:

Reservation to SC/ST shall be made in accordance with the provisions for the ORV in posts and services

(for SC & ST) Act 1975 and the Rules made there under. Reservation to SEBC, Ex-Servicemen, Persons

with Disability, Sportsmen and Women shall be made in accordance with the provisions made under

such Act, Rules Order, Resolutions or instructions issued by the Government from time to time.

MODE OF SELECTION:

1. The selection of candidates shall be made on career assessment as detailed below:

Diploma in Pharmacy 50%

2. Provided further that, the candidates engaged on Contractual basis under the Central Plan Schemes, State

Plan Schemes and externally Aided Scheme under Health & F.W. Deptt. against the post duly approved

by Health & F.W. Deptt. and concurred by the Finance Deptt. and below the age of 45 years and have

completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed one percent extra mark of the total

marks for each completed year of continuous service subject to maximum of fifteen percent which will be

added to the marks secured by them for deciding their merit position as per the G.A. Deptt. Notification

No.32010/GEN dt.12.11.2013.

3. The Provisional Merit List will be based on the marks secured as per the above mentioned weightage from

highest to lowest. In case of a tie the following rules will be followed in the following order:

a. Higher mark in Diploma in Pharmacy will secure higher position.

b. Higher mark in Physics in +2 Science will secure higher position.

c. Higher mark in Chemistry in +2 Science will secure higher position.

d. Older in age will secure higher position.

4. The merit list shall be valid for a period of one year or till completion of panel list which-ever is earlier.

5. The seniority will be maintained as per the rank in the merit list.

If any candidate is found to have suppressed any material, information or furnished false

information/documents, his/her case shall not be considered for the post applied for and in case already

engaged on the basis of the said information/documents, his/her service shall be terminated forthwith.

Such candidates are also liable to due legal action including penal action as per prevailing law.

Candidates who have been disengaged previously on administrative ground such as disobedience/poor

performance/misbehavior/criminal activity etc. are not eligible to apply.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

2. The selected candidates will have to undertake that they will not claim any financial benefits other than
