Aside from his very own citations, EDWIN LISA Salon had also
receivednumerous awards and recognitions. In February 2006, it was
awarded as theBest Hair Care Treatment Specialist by the 2005
Product Quality Excellence
Awards; and on September of the same year it was recognized as
The BestHair Salon (National Awards) by the Philippine Brilliance
Awards for Productand Services.
Looking back during his younger years, he was able to support
his familyworking odd jobs to several companies. Being the eldest
of seven (7) siblings,he once worked as a mall merchandiser and a
salesman; also as a part-timeservice crew for a fastfood chain;
while mastering his craft in haircutting. Inorder to make ends
meet, he had to balance his life between work and studies;working
during the day and studies at night. A scholar at the Pamantasan
ngLungsod ng Pasay, he was able to finish his studies and earned a
degree inCommerce, Major in Marketing.

Love of His Life
The Passion to Dream
Apart from the passion and the love for his craft, there is also
anotherlove of his life that never ceases to inspire and motivate
him. In everymans success there is a woman behind it, and that
woman is Ms.Melinda de Guzman. A native of Carlos, Pangasinan,
Melinda wasreferred by Edwins brother to work with his then newly
opened salon. Itdidnt take long before they found out their true
feelings with each other.
And just like a love story blossoming from a fairy tale, a
romance and truelove is inevitable. Melinda played a very important
role in Edwins lifeand witnessed how he evolved from a mere scratch
to a bigger and morepromising star in the salon and spa business.
Together they now worknot just as a team but as lifetime as well. A
dynamic duo bound by oneanothers love and passion; thru thick and
thin, for better and for worse.
In pursuing his dreams, he turned to his passion and steer it to
the nextlevel. Despite of discouragements, setbacks and some
obstacles, henever gave up and pushes through to what he believes
in, and that isbeing the best at what he does.
He attribute the success of his venture to the discipline he was
able toinstill during his childhood by his parents and the sense
ofprofessionalism he was able to learn during his hairstyling
competitiondays. His faith in God and the challenges he faced honed
his skills andmade him even more creative. He focuses on customer
needs andaffordability without compromising the quality of products
and services
which make customers come back for more. With the help of
word-of-mouth, close friends and loyal patrons, EDWIN LISA Salon
became anovernight sensation and a big success in the community.
