Dreamweaver allows the user to create a virtual website on the local system and then upload the same structure on web server. Virtual website facilitate managing the files used in creation of the website, for example image files, HTML files, flash files etc. this maintain the site structure and avoid missing link and images when browsed on world wide web.

Session 1: Introduction to DreamweaverIn this session, students are introduced to Dreamweaver Software. They learn about the interface and the different tools of the program. However, before they create a website using Notepad, they also define the terms website, homepage. It is important for students to study about html and CSS programming languages, since they are essential in creating websites.

Session 2: Creating a virtual website –Water ParkDreamweaver allows the user to create a virtual website on the local system and then upload the same structure on web server. Session 3: Creating a home pageIn this session, while creating the first page of the website, students change and set the page properties, for example color of the page, text color, link color, background image etc. Types of heading tag are available in HTML & how to use it so that it follows the rule of WWW. HTML fonts, as website allows few fonts which are approved and allowed while creating website. Creating different Paragraph and applying bullets, types of bullet list,

Session 4: Working with graphics In this session, student will learn about adding interactivity to a webpage, Inserting images, inserting Rollover images using JavaScript, animated Rollovers. Page navigation is one of the most important features of web design; Student will learn how to insert a navigation Bar for a website.

Session 5: Water Park Rules and Fees In this Session, student will learn how to create Tables. Using tables can be a powerful way to organize and display data. You use tables in HTML just as you use them in a word processing application. Tables consist of rows, columns, and cells.

Session 6: Creating LinksIn this session, students create links. A website is made up of a group of web pages, and hyperlinks enable viewers to navigate from page to page. Hyperlinks, in the simplest form, are the familiar underlined and colored (usually blue) text that you click.

Session 7: Adding Spry Menu Bars for NavigationIn this session, student will learn that every website should have navigation links that let visitors quickly jump to the sites’ Pages.

Dreamweaver CS5 includes a powerful and easy navigation-building tool—the Spry Menu Bar. With it, you can put your entire site’s most important links into a compact horizontal or vertical menu. Each button supports two levels of pop-up submenus, so a visitor can quickly jump to a page

Session 8: Formatting Pages Using CSSIn this session, student will learn what is Style sheet, what is the use of style sheet, why sheet style is required to be used in a webpage, what is the advantage of creating and using a style sheet. What is external style sheet, effect of changing a style sheet on a web page, Editing and modifying a style sheet?.

Session 9: Working with MultimediaIn this session students will learn how to insert the flash file, flash movie and how to edit the flash file in adobe Dreamweaver

Session 10: On line Ticket Purchase FormIn this session, students will learn what is form, how to create an online ticket purchase order form. What are the components of the forms, how to submit a form, and how to reset the information filled in the form?.
