Awareness of the process

Legislation requires that there be an annual review and revisions of the rubric. Expect changes each year but they are now to the point where they are minor in scope.

Each year there will be an orientation to the changes in the system

Breaking apart complex professional practices to manageable parts

Formatting observable professional practices in bold and italics

Some Professional practices moved to different rating levels due to lessons learned in the field. In this example, the practices in the BASIC and PARTIALLY PROFICIENT columns were swapped because it was noted in the field that each of the professional practices in the basic column represent aspects that build toward the conducive learning environment, which is now in the partially proficient column.
